Kirby Avalir G10D Vacuum Cleaner with Tool Attachments, Shampooer, Warranty

I bought this vacuum because I owned a Kirby very many years ago and always wanted to get a replacement after the old one died ( after over 20 years of use)....I am very please with my purchase and the vendor ...he was very helpful and the vacuum is especially surprising because it weighs much less than the previous one....nice. Thank you.

I ORDERED THIS KIRBY VACUUM CLEANER & DID NOT EXPECT A BRAND NEW ONE BECAUSE OF THE PRICE, BUT I DID EXPECT IT TO RUN. I PLUGGED IT IN & HIT THE ON SWITCH & IT JUST SAT THERE. IT WOOD NOT EVEN COME ON. I WILL NOT GIVE THIS SELLER ANY BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. THEY SHOULD HAVE CHECKED IF IT WOOD OPERATE BEFORE THEY SENT IT TO ME. I ALSO WILL NOT RECCOMMEND THIS SELLER UNLESS THEY MAKE THIS RIGHT.

This is our third Kirby so far in my lifetime. We passed the last one to my youngest, just so we could buy a new one. This is the best so far. I read someone say that his carpets looked like new after vacuuming with this Kirby. Completely agree. Picks up dirt well, easy to clean and change the bag.

There’s nothing I dislike

Can’t get Kirby in stores till now, which they’re is almost no such thing as a “new” Kirby. These are likely one model behind as the SN on mine lists a 2017 manufacturing date. They’re all tested and used on site as a door to door sales pitch. Great vacuum with unlimited life. If it ever breaks it only costs $150 to completely rebuild the power unit. MSRP is roughly $2400. So the price of $600 is an absolute steal, especially coming with all the attachments.

Only genuine kirby belts can be used, no other belt will work. hand held to vacuum chairs, couches, is difficult and heavy to handle. time consuming to change to hose, just not easy to work with. gave up on shampooing anything, way too much trouble. sold mine for half of what I paid and glad to get rid of it.

The vacuum cleaner works very well, but I never received the promised warranty or a rebate in lieu of it.
