Absolutely fantastic computer. The nicest laptop I've ever had
Absolutely fantastic computer. The nicest laptop I've ever had. I've been using it for a month now. When I first got it, I some of the drivers were buggy and I was getting a few errors/bugs. After the latest update, ALL of the problems have been fixed. Now it's absolutely perfect. The screen is high resolution and looks great. There is no fan and the battery lasts forever. Its super light. It's fast (unless you have more than 30 tabs open, then it starts to get choppy when scrolling). The keyboard is an abolute pleasure to type on. The track pad is awesome (once I disabled all the stupid gestures, except 2 finger scrolling). My sister's boyfriend just bought the new MacBook, which is basically the same specs but costs twice as much. I got to compare the two devices today. I have to admit that I really like the Asus better, especially because of the keyboard. Plus it has way more ports (3 full size USB). He thought mine was really cool, then at the end he goes "wow, it has a touch screen too?". You won't be disappointed with this computer, now that the drivers are all fixed and working great. I think most of the negative reviews on this are because of buggy drivers (which like I said, seem to be working great now, because all my problems have been resolved after the update a week or 2 ago).

All I can say after two weeks so far is Brilliant
Can't believe I am actually writing a review but because of this product, I feel inclined too. I love this machine. I cannot compare it to any macbooks so mac fans will not find a based comparison from me however I really am enjoying this laptop.ProsIt has no fan which is not what I am used to but is a nice change for me.It is of really lightweight therefore I feel more confident walking around with it even in one hand.It has a screen is touchscreen which has come in very handy so I do not have to strain my eyes and my hands trying to type in the keys of the non back lit keyboard. It comes pre installed with windows 10 so I didn't have to waste anytime with the downloads. The QHD+ screen has often made my eyes sigh with it's magnificent display. Definitely a welcome upgrade compared to the 720x1280 display I had on my previous PC.It's 13 inch screen is convenient compared to the large 15.6 inch screen laptop I had in the past. This size makes it much easier to pack as I am a college student and it is therefore convenient with regards to my current needs.ConsThere is no back lit keyboard which I have never actually had however I can see this being beneficial to any laptop user. The touchscreen function automatically turns itself off after it sleeps. I have not yet found a way to keep it permanently on and I am now just relying on disabling the HIC device and then re-enabling it right afterwards which turns the touchscreen back on. A bit of a nuisance to be honest but I am sure there is a way to resolve this issue however like I said it does come in handy when I need it and I don't use it all the time. The screen itself will get finger prints when using the touchscreen feature and the cloth they provide to clean it is not as effective as I would hope. It takes multiple swipes to remove one index finger print.Summary: You will enjoy this device and I highly recommend buying it if you have the money.

Excellent All Around Machine; My Workaround For Touchscreen Issue
I have had this machine for a few weeks now. It is an excellent machine, with just a couple of minor flaws. The first thing that I did was to update the machine by running Windows Update and Asus Live update. This will update Windows as well as all Asus drivers. I find that having up to date software usually makes things run more smoothly. What I like:* Lightweight at around 2.5 pounds. I've had some older laptops that weigh 4 or 5 pounds, and this laptop feels so much better.* The screen is very sharp. It is like looking at a smartphone screen* SSD is fast and has lots of space. This laptop comes with 256 GB of storage, which is double what other laptops in this price point have.* Fanless. This laptop is quiet, and will not pull in any dust. The flaws:* The touchscreen doesn't work when waking from sleep. I found a workaround for this, which is to use hibernate instead of sleep. Of course that means the machine no longer instantly wakes up, but the resume is still fast enough for me (around 22 seconds).* The power button is a key on the keyboard, and is located where the delete key normally is. I don't like this location, as it means I might accidently shut off the machine when I try to delete something. My workaround for this is to disable the power button in the power settings.Note you can get to the settings for the workarounds above by typing "change lid" on the Windows Start menu, and then clicking on "Change what closing the lid does". Once there, change the settings for "When I press the power button" to "Do nothing". Also change the settings for "When I close the lid" to "Hibernate".Overall 4.5 Stars.
