Yummi-Land Soda Pop Girls - Soda Shop with Exclusive Sara Strawbella Doll

My 4 year old received this toy as a gift. An elevator door broke within the first 5 minutes. As previously stated, the doll and animal can't sit on the furniture. Also, the toy sundaes that come with it are top-heavy and fall off of the table and some are too tall to fit in the display case, which also falls over. The elevator does go up nicely, however they must not have tested this toy as the doll's hair and arms get caught on the way down and make it nearly impossible to function. It is extrememly frustrating to a child and is absolutely no fun to play with. I would strongly recommend against this toy.

We got this toy (along with another Soda Pop Girl) for our 5 year old daughter for Christmas because this is what she had seen on the TV and said she wanted. None of her friends had one yet so I didn't know anything about this toy. The dolls are very sweet and although they are scented, the scent isn't too strong. However, the icecream shop and furniture are poorly made and poorly thought out. Neither the dolls nor the pets they come with can sit on the chairs, which makes them useless. The elevator works fine going up but all the dolls get their hair caught in it when you try to go down. These short comings were frustrating to my daughter. She no longer plays with the icecream shop or the furniture. She just plays with the dolls.
