Top quality, very stable, so much nicer than ...
Top quality, very stable, so much nicer than what came with the trailer, worth every penny. I don't miss having a wheel because the boat/trailer was always too heavy to move around by hand anyway. Tip: install this jack while your trailer is connected to your vehicle so you can adjust the height of the jack for adequate swing clearance to the horizontal position. The instructions do mention that you must remove the jack to adjust the height. Once mounted, you don't have access to the two bolts that must be loosened to adjust the height. Also, you have to remove the main pivot bolt to get access to the the other bolt that must be loosened to allow it to slide. I initially installed mine while the trailer was disconnected from my truck. When I connected the trailer to my truck the jack did not have enough ground clearance to swing up and into the horizontal storage position after the weight of the boat compressed the springs on the rear of my truck. I had to remove the jack to make the adjustment.

Great jack, worth the money
Quality made, the adjustable mount puts the jack in the optimum stop for greatest lift. The hadle stow clip and pivoting foot are just a bonus.

Might work for smaller boats?
I’m guessing the jack is just not strong enough for my boat and not actually rated anywhere near 2,000lbs.This jack came on my Centurion Ri257 boat trailer(25’ wakeboard boat). The first jack got extremely loose, even after tightening the nut to 70lb as recommended it would tilt back to a 30* angle and eventually had 3” of slop. Replaced it and now new jack has stopped cranking up all together.

Great Jack..But read on...
Hey guys let me say this is a great jack...But there is a (rub). I installed this jack with no problems it looks great and more importantly it works great. My boat is a Stratos 295PD dry weight is 1450lbs. 1992. Over the years the old jack has worn out and I was looking for a new foot plate jack. I was looking at these Fulton 2000 pound jacks. So I ordered it from Amazon installed it...Now here's the (rub) A few days later I was clearing off the work bench and was glancing through the paper work that came with the jack and noticed a service bulletin. It states that if your jack does not have a vent hole in the top of the jack you need to drill a 3/8 hole. Reading on it is to vent and lube the inner jack. So I spent $214.00 on a jack that I now have to remove and repair. I know what some of you are thinking...maybe I should have read the paperwork before I did the install. And maybe you are right. But the point is I don't think I should even have to fix the mistake made by the manufacture in the first place. That being said I made the repair and I still think the jack is a great jack. So I guess I am just giving you guys a heads up if you order one of these you might have to drill a lube hole cause you know dry holes are bad lol...M.Canter

F2 Trailer Jack does not fit on the F2 Adapter Plate (seeking soulution from Fulton)
Got the Fulton F2 2000lb Trailer Jack with foot plate to replace a Single Wheel Fulton XL Trailer Jack on a Boatmate Trailer. Went with the Fulton XL a few years ago and have no regrets on that one, but the old XL started leaning a little bit. I was hoping adapter plate from XL to F2 bolt on for the F2 was going to work, so I could avoid the welding. Went to install the Fulton XL to F2 adapter plate today, no problem installing the adapter plate on the old XL mount, then learned that the F2 jack doesn't fit on the F2 adapter plate. The problem is the adapter plate and the jack mounting plate do not line up. Maybe there is a bigger adapter plate or there is a different mounting plate option? I am hoping seller can help. Hoping the photos may help. I remain optimistic that the seller may have a solution, as I like the look of the F2 and liked the two Fulton Trailer Jacks that were previously on the trailer. Called Fulton today hoping they could help, but it is after hours. I will update review when I hear back from Seller, went ahead with the review hoping Fulton monitors.
