The bags are quite sturdy. I really like them for marinating meat and freezer storage. I also use one in my gym bag for bottles that could potentially leak. Ordering a second set. **Q: Where are these made?** A: China **Q: Do they absorb and retain smells? For strong smelling food items.** A: I haven't used them for anything that I would say has a strong smell. But with normal use for lunches and leftovers I haven't noticed any retained smell at all. My wife put hot sauce in one and it didn't leave any smell, but it did stain the bag orange **Q: I just received these dec 31. one of the gallon bags corner seam is not sealed. how do i get a replacement for just the one bag?** A: Contact the manufacturer…you should be able to get that information from Amazon. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very happy with these bags *by on Reviewed in the United States October 2, 2026* Good value, good seal, easy to wash, works well in the freezer, and NOT plastic! Very happy with them! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great sturdy bags, fantastic for freezing. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 17, 2026* These work great and wash up nicely. The zip on the top is easy to zip shut. I have mostly used them in the freezer and they are way better than plastic bags, can get nearly all the air out of them and they are nice and thick so less freezer burn. I like that they are BPA proof too. They seem to be sturdy and work fantastic for meat especially. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Takes some getting used to. *by on Reviewed in the United States October 9, 2023* I wanted to get away from using plastic as much as possible so switched over to these bags and it has taken some getting used to.Granted, these are not nearly as convenient as the disposable ones but the pay off is big for both me, and the planet so it is worth it in my opinion.Pros: They do seal well, are attractive and make you feel better for using them.Cons: Pretty easy to wash, but very time consuming to dry, and you need to get creative at that. I have tried the chop sticks in the glass and that works okay. Also laying a ramekin on it's side in the smaller bags seems to work for me too. Also, the nutribullet tall cup works well for the larger bags. Even then, you have to try and get in the corners with a rag to make sure they are completely dry.I found that it isn't a good idea to put walnuts in there because I had to wash the bag 4x in order to get the teeny crumbs that were buried deep in the corner.Labeling them is somewhat of an adventure as well. I researched and found that dry erase crayons work and that is true so long as you don't let the bag warm up a bit out of the freezer and then accidently smear what you wrote. Speaking of that, it is actually easier to open a bag that has been in the freezer if you let it sit for a minute or so on the counter, plus I think it just might help to preserve the zip seal a bit. Finally, I found that they can be quite slippery in the freezer, and unless the bags are situated just right, one after another can easily slip and fall to the ground, so you really have to watch it.Overall I am glad I got these like I said for the goodness they bring, and the rest, I will just have to deal with. ## Frequently Bought Together - SPLF 12 Pack Dishwasher Safe Reusable Storage Bags (5 Sandwich Bags, 5 Snack Bags, 2 Gallon Bags), BPA Free Freezer Bags Leakproof Silicone and Plastic Free Lunch Bags Food Storage - SPLF 8 Pack Dishwasher Safe Reusable Storage Bags (4 Half Gallon Freezer Bags, 4 Quart Sandwich Snack Bags), BPA FREE Stand Up Extra Thick Leakproof Silicone and Plastic Free Zipper Lunch Food Bags --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/202883790-splf-12-pack-dishwasher-safe-reusable-food-storage-bags-white](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/202883790-splf-12-pack-dishwasher-safe-reusable-food-storage-bags-white) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
