This was a gift for my husband who collects cast iron mechanical banks.  This one is nice!  The colors are bright and the figure is quite amusing.  I thought you were supposed to push down on the tail to make the dog bark, but it didn't work very well.  Then, I discovered if you pull the tail the dog barks just fine.  The mechanism was a little stiff at first but it has gradually loosened up a bit.  I think it is a delightful piece, and my husband really likes it!  Design Toscano is such a cool company!
