Give your presentation a boost whith this versatile presenter
My old presenter died and I need a new one. After some research on Amazon I decided to give this one a try. Overall it is a great presenter and would recommend it to those who are looking for a decent one.Form factor:Some other reviewers mentioned it is a bit too small but for me, the slim design is better and easier to keep in the pocket. It just took a while to get used to the location of each button and remember the function, which thankfully, is not too hard due to thoughtful allocation. The USB dongle is hidden in the body. It requires a bit force to take out, but at least it is secured when inserted, and losing the dongle on the move is the least thing you want to happen before your big presentation. Buttons are responsive and reliable so far.Mode:Presenter mode is my main use, and it does a good job. Laser pointer is green and super bright. Button function and allocation is very intuitive and useful. Page up (Previous page) /down (Next page) buttons are consistent with MIcrosoft PowerPoint when you use up/down keys to change slides. Switch to Pen button saves the time of right-clicking and scrolling the menu with a mouse. Start/Esc and Blank Screen buttons are also useful during presentation.Mouse mode helps your presentation. Mapping of cursor directions is quite intuitive. Although the cursor motion is a bit slow, it is still workable so when you are away from your laptop, you don't have to go back to your mouse, for example, to click links. It would be perfect if the speed is adjustable though.Media Player is a nice add-on. You might think it is just a gimmick but actually using it to play music is a breeze (I use Windows 10) when I am away from my mouse/keyboard. The mapping of buttons is also very intuitive.Power:It uses 2 AAA batteries instead of button battery to power. Easier to get and replace. What I like:1. Very versatile.2. Intuitive button allocation: Up = Page Up(Previous slide) = Cursor Up = Volume Up / Down = Page Down(Next slide)PS:I have a media server connected to TV and it has USB ports for accessories like keyboard / mouse. I will try if this presenter can also be used as the input device to control the server and play media files. Will update this review if I find out anything.

Flimsy & poorly designed/engineered; overpriced; but the laser is good
Wow.Logged in today specifically to review this item.Mystified by the other, 5-star reviews that prompted me to buy this.I can only surmise that they other reviewers have never used a presenter before.I have a Keyspan presenter that still works great and serves as the basis for comparison. My nearly 20-yr old, single-function, Radio Shack laser pointer finally died, and I couldn't find a another. So I bought this Infiniter 4-in-1 primarily for the laser (I often work ambidextrously, with a slide changer in one hand and a laser in the other). Based on the reviews and a lot of research, I thought it might become my primary presenter. No way.Caveat: I have not yet tested this in large meeting room. So I cannot verify the wireless range or functions except at close distance.Positives:As billed, the green laser is plenty powerful for such a small device. Today is only Day 1, so I have no idea if it will be durable.Negatives:1) Feels flimsy and too lightweight for the size and function. 2) Power switch "travel" from on to off is about 1 mm -- too sensitive and feels very flimsy. 3) Buttons all too tiny (even for my average, female fingers). 4) Function switch (3 positions) likewise feels as if it will break soon. 4) USB receiver -- despite duplicate instructions (sticker on device AND in the user manual) about the awkward removal instructions, I had to use a letter opener to get it out the first few times. Then, once "broken in", it now feels insecure. Terrible design. The fact that manufacturer has to explain in multiple ways how to operate it is a bad sign. It, too, feels flimsy. 5) Oh, and NO POUCH! For this price, there should be a case or a pouch.Overall, on a Goldilocks scale, it is too small, too lightweight, too flimsy, and not ergonomic enough in my average-sized hand. I am pretty sure I will be hitting the wrong buttons regularly when I use it. If I use it. I'm almost afraid to do so, because it feels as if it will break with routine use. There should be a pouch or case, especially since the "safety catch" that holds the receiver (too) securely will likely fatigue soon, letting the receiver go AWOL. Manufacturer tried to cram too many features into too small and too flimsy a "package".I wanted to like this. The reviews seemed favorable. But compared to Kensingtons, Logitechs, my current Keyspan, and my old Radio Shack laser, it is a terrible disappointment.Overall, a big disappointment. I may keep it (just for the laser), or I may return it. Not a good product for the price.

Mouse mode is not user friendly
I think it is a waste of money. It has a good design, but the functionality is not so user friendly. I don't why but under Presenter mode, the next page is associated with the button (-) and it should be with the button (+) according the product description. The mouse mode is not user friendly. It takes a lot of time for moving the cursor on the screen. My expectation was to point the laser and then click, that is not the way it works. It the old school: using the up/down or right/left movement to get to the position you want, then to make a click. I don't understand why it is so difficult to have this functionality; it is something you have with any cheap wireless mouse (except the laser). For basic functionality it is ok, but if you want advanced features such like to click on hyperlink and to get very fast a particular place of the screen it is very awkward. For basic functionality you don't have to spent so much money. It is very difficult to find a good wireless presenter. Most of them are expensive and with very basic functionality. There is no so much information about how they work prior to buy it. I am going to return this one, because I need such advanced features and for something basic, it is not worth to pay this amount
