Pronounced "High Road". Disc systems on the road take a big step forward with HY/RD's cable-operated hydraulic brake caliper! The Hy/Rd works with all existing lever and shifter/lever combinations and offers extra lightweight, self-adjusting composite pistons, paired with a caliper mounted master cylinder bathed in mineral oil for incredible performance.

Review: Worth it - Very comparable to fully hydraulic brakes in stopping power. If you run cables then you should certainly upgrade to these. I have them on my custom specialized Allez, i wouldn’t scrimp on brakes and they feel super well built.

The only thing I wish was better was that the description should mention that it does not come with the flat mount adapter. Had to order that separately after the product arrived. Money saving tip - you really only need to upgrade the front brake. Front does 90% of the work.

Very comparable to fully hydraulic brakes in stopping power. If you run cables then you should certainly upgrade to these. I have them on my custom specialized Allez, i wouldn’t scrimp on brakes and they feel super well built.

Hands-down the best cable-actuated disc brake calipers you can buy. I have these on my road and cyclocross bikes, and the stopping power rivals full hydraulic systems. Simple to install. Great power and modulation w/ the added benefit of being self-adjusting. Just buy them and be happy!
