They are a really good, large size but the carry handles make them easy to lift even when packed full of books. The cardboard is genuinely heavy duty. We stacked them up high in the van and none of the bottom ones crushed or split open. The printed room list on the side is a really helpful touch for keeping track of things.

**Q: Are they double walled?**
A: No, they are not double-walled, in fact I don't know what is "extra strong" about them. Ours tore the first time we tried lifting them - and they only had light goods inside. Try something else.

A: Yes, I used duct tape to seal.

We used these for the house move last year and they were brilliant. They are a really good, large size but the carry handles make them easy to lift even when packed full of books. The cardboard is genuinely heavy duty. We stacked them up high in the van and none of the bottom ones crushed or split open. Good strong cardboard, these are very big. You must tape the bottom of the boxes, overlapping the flaps isn’t good enough and there isn’t a full width piece like some boxes have, My only gripe is that the cut outs for the handles is single thickness, so can rip a little when you have got heavy contents. So generally positive, just could be slightly better.
