They are compatible with most all gas can configurations, and work as described, very easy to install with their innovative system and all parts are included except the gas can and the drill to use the provided bit. This will last for a long time. Review: Very pleased with the performance and installation - These work very well. I installed them on four "No Spill" brand 5 gallon fuel cans. Prior to installation the "No Spill" cans consistently gasped for air when dispensing gas or diesel fuel even though they are supposed to flow freely. Once these vents were added the fuel poured freely from both the diesel and gas cans. You can really see the difference when dispensing when you start with the vent open and then put your thumb over the hole. The flow really slows down. The "No Spill" cans are pretty thick. The area where I installed mine is 11/64" thick and it securely sealed the vent. It does not leak. The installation was very easy but there are a few things to consider. First, even though I applied vacuum with a shop vac to prevent plastic from falling into the can as I drilled the hole, a piece of plastic ended up in each of the 4 cans. If you have a gas can with a non-removable screen in the fill hole you may not be able to get the debris out. Second, the rubber seal is a pretty tight fit in the drilled hole. The nut has to be backed off as far as possible and, even then, I had to carefully poke the edge into the hole with a small flat blade screwdriver to get it seated. When doing this you need to be careful not to tear the rubber seal. Third, although it comes with a wrench and flat blade, it is a lot easier to install with a 10mm open end ratchet wrench. My gas cans would pulse when pouring from the air not being able to get in the can. Now, they pour wonderfully. Nice and smooth. I had tried some plastic ones but they just broke and fell apart. These brass ones are great, no leaks, easy to install.
