Q: Do these run boot size or sneaker size? I generally wear a size 10 boot and size 11 sneaker

For me it is more sneaker size. I am the opposite of you. My sneaker size usually runs 10 to 10 1/2, depending on brand. My boot size is 11. I decided to go with my sneaker size and 10w works out for me.

Q: Everyone says order 1 size larger or go wide, arent these meant to be broken in and if so shouldnt i go true to size?

They will not “break in” due to the rubber and Cordura construction. Trust me. I tried with the standard width, and failed. After trying to wear them out in public twice with every intention of stretching them out, I only ended up with sore feet. The pain was intolerable, forcing me to limp just to avoid the pressure points on my feet. While sitting at dinner or in a movie theater, my feet began feeling numb due to the boots’ tightness. Please keep in mind that I have Size 5-1/2 feet and wore these boots in Size 6R. I bought a second pair, but in Size 6W, and my feet love me now! I can only hope you learn from my mistake (and disappointment)!

For real? No... there is no way these would pass for any military reg.
