This compares favorably with the B&K Precision loads that this bears a remarkable similarity to.However, the unit I received contained an Australian power cord which can't be used here in the US. I'm very glad to see high-quality units like this that allow us to perform tests and repairs that previously wouldn't be possible for us or our clients.The software it came with is a little finicky but ultimately it included all the features we'd care about out-of-the-box. We can graph batteries and record measurements effortlessly without any custom software. For more complicated test jobs we've been able to script up our own software and communicate with the unit without any trouble. The serial interface is TTL but luckily they printed that on the back of the unit so we didn't damage ours trying to communicate with it for the first time.The VFD display is especially nice -- we have a lot of older test gear with LCDs that are pretty unreadable -- this unit is easily readable from all sorts of positions.
