I didn't see anything saying the clock becomes almost 'invisible' after 6 mins when it enters eco mode.This was very important to me and such a let down.If i had know this I wouldnt have purchased. I have now had to buy a clock and shelf for it as I have no other wat to tell the time in my kitchen.I havent had it long enough to review the other functions yet

Love the sleek design & colour!Saw this flatbed microwave in black and fell in love with this particular style;There is a hidden panel on the inner side of the microwave where you can choose which defrost option you'd like before selecting it on the main panel.Also a space saving design, giving you more room to house your microwave on the work top as well as extra space inside the microwave itself.Great, fully functioning auto clean feature and the microwave door turn's transparent when cooking- another great feature.The whole no-rotation-plate takes a little getting used to and means you definitely have to stir your food half way through cooking, but it's a small price to pay to ensure your food is heated thoroughly throughout.The grill function isn't quickly effective but, to be fair, I haven't used it on food I'd like grilled start to finish- like sausages for example.Comes complete with a wire rack accessory, for when you want to grill or microwave/grill things- my only reservation with this is that for the best result's you should place the food directly onto the rack; even with baking parchment lining the rack, the juices spill over onto the floor of the microwave; however the auto clean function makes light work of cleaning the microwave cavity, so it does balance out.All thing's considered I'm chuffed with my purchase and would honestly recommend!

This is possibly the best microwave oven in existence. Very easy to use, grill function that actually works, the flat bed means it's possible to put two small dishes in at the same time. It has rice cooker program which is very useful. A bit expensive, yes, so depends if you want / need all that stuff... It is possible to get a perfectly functional microwave for half the money, personally no regrets here.Now the bad stuff.These things are rebranded Whirlpool ovens, it seems. So Hotpoint will redirect you to Whirlpool customer service if there is any issue. To be fair, Hotpoint guys were very nice and helpful but they just can't do much.Whirlpool people simply do not give a damn.In my case it was just a lightbulb so not a big deal. But the oven is still under warranty. It took a week long exchange of emails to find out lightbulb is covered by the warranty. Fair enough, why not say it straight away? And the part number of the replacement part I would need to buy seems to be a highly guarded secret.So, yeah, 5* microwave, 1* customer support, 2* result as it's bloody annoying.

I bought this microwave as my previous microwave was to small for the microwave. The capacity is great but it takes do long to heat things. Also its not a straightforward microwave, at times the microwave just locks and won't work until you open the door to reset it.

Really good microwave has a really large interior and easy to wipe clean as no glass plate .Decent size .I Like how the door goes transparent when in on mode,so you can see if anythings over flowing and bubbling over.Looks really sleek on the worktop.

It is bigger than the previous one that I had for eight years and this is so much easier to operate it takes up more space but it's well worth it, I would definitely recommend this microwave

Excellent microwave oven. Easy to use. Love the fact that no longer requires a revolving plate base. You can fit more in at a time. No cold spots so far.
