I first found Jasmines coloring book's on ebay or desertcart, The first one I found about 4 years ago Jasmine Becket Griffith Coloring Book: A Fantasy Art Adventure and I fell in love with her art work and her Coloring books, I had to have them all and now I have thios mermaid one to which is another amazing coloring book from her art collection..She takes her art work and puts so many pieces into her coloring book and there all amazing ! She also has Halloween and Alice in Wonderland so a total of 4 coloring books so far. She also has 6 or more portfolios you can buy that have all her art work shes made, which someday I would love to own, Just dont have the extra cash right now, there about $100 each but way worth it her art work is amazing, I wish she would turn them all into coloring cooks we can buy and create ourselves! One day I will buy a real piece of her art to hang on my wall, Specifically one of my favorites, either the picture on the cpover of this book or the mermaid picture in her first coloring book..She's upright out of the ocean with a moon or sun in the background and waves. It's so beautiful, so if your hesitant to buy please dont be and buy it, heck buy 2 and give one a away or as a gift or even just have an extra so you can make more of one of them all or just your favorites..I plan on buying 2 of every one of my favorite coloring books so I can Have one left as a book and the other I can take apart and frame them !! Have fun I cant wait These are the supplies I use just in case you wanna know....I have a huge collection of art supplies ranging from staedtler fineliner markers, Sakura Gelly roll Gel pens, Gel Pens made from all different brands mostly no name besides the Gelly roll. And I also use colored pencils. They all work amazing on this book, the pages are nice and thick so you don't have to worry about bleeding through, but I always use a piece of blank paper anyway just in case, plus it works great for a color tester page. Review: Beautiful mermaid, in ocean like settings! - LOVE, love, LOVE this book, I like how she left some of the tails blank so you can just do your own think with them, I've tried some glitter paint, some fishnet with chalk, and some tiny gemstones to add more detail so far into my pictures...I'm having a wonderful time coloring in this book, Jasmine Becket-Griffith has some very beautiful artwork/many coloring books. I believe I have purchased them all as well as others. I'd definitely buy this book if you like sea like settings, and mermaids. No complaints what so ever, her books are always VERY good quality, nice thick paper, although i do place some thin cardboard underneath what i am coloring in case i use any type of wet mediums (markers/paints of any kind) to prevent it from bleeding through. Highly recommend this book, as well as her others! :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Paper and Artwork *by T***C on December 17, 2017* In My Opinion this is Jasmine's most challenging coloring book (I have all three). There are many detailed pages which require very sharp pencils or 3/5mm pens to color the images (for me anyways). Unlike the first two, there are no bat wings, lots of mermaid tails and scantly clad mermaids to boot. Almost any living critter one can imagine in the ocean is in this book to color. I used Sharpies and Stabilo 88's (both are alcohol based markers) and I had minor bleed through, I always use pages underneath my coloring page, so no worries of contaminating other pages. I also used a Acrylic Paint Pen, on one coloring and no bleed through (I used a LOT of paint). A lot of pages are printed Landscape instead of the traditional Portrait layout. All in all, a fun, challenging, exciting, and rewarding book to own. Plus, it has a pretty cover.
