My succulents were not doing well due to low light in my apartment, but after using this lamp for only a short time I can assure it works well. Leafs are looking more vibrant and no longer dull and spotty. Even some of my stubborn clipping finally started to root after a few days use. I made a small lamp shade out of black card stock and few spots of double sided tape, then added silver reflective tape to the undersides to reflect more light back down.

I’m giving five stars fir the product being exactly as expected and seems to make my pitcher plant quite happy... I love the timer function. I have been using this for a few weeks now. Pretty strong clamp, though it’s plastic so I would caution someone who needs to frequently (say, daily) move their grow lights (like if you travel with plants like me sometimes! XD) to be very gentle with it in that regards to make it last a long time.My only dislike of it is the lighting is hard on my eyes which I should have expected - I have always found blue light to be very hard on my eyes. Fortunately, it’s not in my room :D

Bought two. I wanted some plants in a room without adequate light. So I bought this small portable light and clipped it to the arrangement. The colors do distort when the light is on, but the plants are thriving.I can just take the lamp off or turn it off if I’m having company over and trying to impress.I use the other mine to supplement the light for my windowsill plants on overcast or stormy days.

Works as described, adjunct to natural indirect lighting, blue,red. eg: window light (for orchids that require 1500 to 5000 FC's) you would need a 150 watt bulb

I ordered this light to overlook my herb plants at night. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. It came with the option of 1-4 lights with a slight price increase on each extra light. It was reasonably priced. It comes attached to a clip that can clamp on to a ledge or shelf. The arms on the light are adjustable so that you can raise them high above the plant or right up close. It has a timer function of 3,9 and12 hours so that you can set it to go off in the morning. It will also set itself to go back on at the same time you turned it on the day before. It has three color settings, infra red, ultraviolet blue or purple which is both lights combined. The dimmer has nine brightness options which you can adjust for more sensitive plants or just because. I have been very please with this product and would recommend to anyone that has indoor plants or looking to start some.

There is no chance this uses any more wattage than a 3-4. My wattmeter shows the USB 5V inverter uses 5.2-6W (more as it gets hotter). Some of that is waste (heat), so the lamps consume maybe 4W. I have the dual arm version only because the single arm didn't come with the inverter, which would cost more to buy separately than just getting the dual arm.My only real complaints with this are that the arms are cheap and don't hold shape well. You have to find a decent resting position where they don't fall down on their own weight. I'd have bought the single arm if it came with the inverter.The timer works well enough... From the time you set the timer (3, 9, or 12 hours), it runs until the time expires. The next day it turns on at about the time you set the timer the previous day and runs for the timer amount previously set.Ultimately, this seems to keep my succulents alive despite the lack of sun during the day in the winter, so i'm satisfied.

I've had it about a month now; decided to buy it since winter is coming.The two leafy plants in the photo, I rescued yesterday. The were practically dead. I watered them, and gave them some light and all the leaves are rising again!Timer works perfectly. Definitely recommended.

I absolutely love this product I bought 2 and one thing they don't tell you is the lights not only shut off when you set the timer they also turn on by themselves it's pretty awesome most lights like this are 1 way timers they only shut off that's it but not these lol plus they are super bright my plants absolutely love these lights I'm using no sun only these lamps & they're living it they're a beautiful lush green color. I'm using these lights in a small space, they wanna droop down sometimes but it really just depends on how u position them I've got them upside down so that could be why either way it's a great buy worth ever penny and they look exactly like the pictures and the led chips are great quality super bright lights I would recommend to anyone these are Amazing total game changer lol
