BISSELL SpotClean Auto Portable Cleaner for Carpet & Cars, 7786A

I have a 13 1/2 yr. old Yorkie that doesn't like to go outside when it is raining or windy or snowing and so on. Some times he manages to do his business in the house. Sometimes, he or my other dog and cat get sick on the carpet. I have a big carpet cleaner that is so heavy and difficult to use for every little mess and I always felt like using a spray can and rag never got the spot clean enough. Answer to all my problems is this wonderful little Spot Clean Auto Portable Cleaner for pets!! It is light, easy to fill, easy to clean and does such a wonderful job. I can't recommend it enough if you have pets..........or even if you don't have pets!!

BISSELL HIT THE PROVERBIAL GRAND SLAM FOR CAR DETAILERS!!!! Unbelievably easy to use and very efficient!I'm over sixty years old and never used used a rug shampooer. This PORTABLE cleaner was so easy to use, I had to check the instructions to make sure I did everything right!!! Most odors inside your automobile come from your carpeting. By using Bissell's SpotClean machine, you'll have a very pleasant smelling car! I drive for both ride-share companies and by maintaining a clean interior, my tips increased from 4% of my income to 12-15%.

Decent quality. The 'water warming' system or what ever isn't something you're going to notice, kind of just a gimmick, but this does help scrub some stains and what not, just be careful not to push too had or the handle will break. Mine broke, but it was under warranty and they fixed it through a third party for free. Took about 2 months to fix, but at least they did it. Suction isn't fabulous, but good enough. Works if youre patient and careful- which is no different than any other device like this so.

I used to clean my grandson's car (his mothers old car) interior which could have not been much worse. Mud, ice tea, coffee, melted yellow Goldfish cookies, dog and granddaughter vomit. It worked quite well for me under the circumstances. Car became usable and looked quite clean. Under a normal situation it would be a breeze. What is good with these models is that it can sit in the car in front of the seat while you work. When the cleaning liquid runs out, the vacuum part also stops so you have to refill tank even with plain water to keep using the suction to get the water out. I used Bissell cleaning solution at the start but then found that RESOLVE worked so much better for the car, sorry Bissell. Resolve is made to work in the machine and I would use no other at this point. The important thing is to remove all the dirty water. The only thing I did not like was the poor quality of the B&W photos in the manual which made simple instructions harder. They need to fix that.

Well after about 8 months the plastic attachment has broken almostnin half. This happened from simple use and applying some pressure to suck up the soap/water/dirt from the vehicles floor mats. Unfortunately it’s not built to handle constant usage more of just a spot treatment as I’m an auto detailer and thought a nice small unit would be nice inside a vehicle with tight spaces. I still use it but had to tape and brace the broken plastic handle and can’t apply much pressure to suck up the water out of the carpet and cloth seats. Wish it was built to handle more abuse as it works pretty well on small stains and cleaning seats and auto interiors.

Works great for automotive cleaning and I'm impressed with the results I've had. This is still working great after 6 months of heavy use and has held up very well. I have not had the issues that people whine about on the review board. Sometimes the nozzle for spraying would plug a little because some little speck of debris was lodged in it but it was easy to clean out and continue my work. No complaints. I would like to see a larger version of this with a longer hose and tanks. I would definitely buy it. Note: Use the oxy boost with the cleaning solution or the results on heavy stains wont be as good.

I have only used this maybe 6 times. Went to use it and all the water in the clean unit was all of a sudden sucked right into the dirty water unit. Cannot for the life of me figure out why it would do something so crazy. Tried to open it up to figure out what went wrong it its not mechanically friendly at all. Waste of money if it can't even last past six uses. So disappointed!

Ok, here's my straight up thoughts, first, if there's 1 broken machine out of 100,000 sold, Ill get that one broken machine. The power switch doesn't stay on so I had to hold the button down the whole time as I used the machine. Boooooooo Bissell! Also, Wal-Mart sellls the same machine at $40.00 cheaper. Other than that the machine ok, it does have poor suction leaving the carpets very damp, I used on my wife's 2012 Ford Escape with lite grey carpet and it cleaned it nice, I then used on my 24 year old beater truck with biege carpet, it also did pretty good but its a lot if work toteing the machine around and holding the power button, the fact of the matter is it can be done cheaper and easier by just buying a carpet cleaning solution, putting it in a spray bottle, hitting it with a scrub brush and then finnish up with your shop vac, this method is just as effective and easy. <just saying>

Works great. The reservoir leaks a little when filling but other than that its great.
