Cutting and Dremeling is more precise, where as with low density foam the edges/surfaces won't be as clean. 2. Sanding the high density foam results in smoother edges. 3. Heat shaping is easier and the shape holds better. Many other EVA foams out there are advertised as "high density" when in fact they are a lower density at around 30 kg/m3 (2 lb/ft3).
