Review: Works exactly as advertised! - I have an ice cream shop with a multi-camera security system. I have two monitors but only one HDMI port on my camera DVR. This product I bought has one input and four outputs, which is more than I need (at the moment). It was super easy to install and I have crystal clear pictures on both of my LED monitors. Also, this splitter was less than half the price at Best Buy. Very happy with my purchase!
Review: Very solid splitter, love the EDID switch to be able to force 1080p. - It works well, always make sure you have a device plugged into "Out 1", and ideally, that should be the device that has the lowest resolution, because that's the resolution that is reported to the host when the EDID selector switch is in "TV" position. When that switch is in STD position, it reports as a 1080p capable device. Out 1 & 2 support up to 4k, but ( think) 3 and 4 are limited to 1080p (I could be wrong on that point). Frankly, I don't care because while I have some 4k monitors, my main use for this device only needs 1080p, and 4k is often a problem because cables at the venues I work in don't always support 4k).

**Q: With a 4k input, will this output 4k hdr to one device and 1080p to another?**
A: sorry but it may and may not sometimes its depends on your source, for example verizon fios if it detects a 1080p tv on its output it wont let any other tv set at 4k , if you were to remove the 1080p tv the others will set to 4k then .

**Q: Will this take a 4k hdr 60hz signal and output to one side, and output a 1080p standard signal to the other? i need one for my el gato capture**
A: Unfortunately, it will not work with elgato capture card.

**Q: What is the difference between this and the uhds-102? it is almost twice as much and seems to be just a newer model?**
A: This one has a Scaler.

**Q: Can the 60 hz split the hdmi signal from  dish hopper recieber**
A: The short answer is yes. But remember it has a scaler, that will automatically Scale resolutions to match your TVs, receiver, or whatever HDMI device your hooking it up to. For example, if one TV supports 4K, but the other only 1080p Full HD, it will put out 1080p Full HD to both devices. In this example no 4K support.
