The rack itself is sufficient. They are clear that it is particle board with a finish on it. For the purpose, that is fine. The finish is simple with a simulated wood grain. It is easy to assemble. Since it is mounted the wall in six places, there is no issue with strength. The problem is the hardware they send to mount it with. Throw it out and get something better. The drywall anchors are the worst. They are larger at the insertion point than at the part that ends up in the drywall, so when you put them in, they enlarge the hole and then rest with very little grip on the drywall. Then, the screws are very large compared to the opening in the anchor. Those two things combine to insure the anchor starts rotating in the hole before the screw gets more than a quarter inch into the anchor. The design might work if the plastic was not so thick and hard. That keeps it from adapting to the incoming screw and gripping the drywall. The only way I was able to keep the rack is to use drywall anchors from another project. Plus, the screws are way too long and the threaded section ends a couple of inches before the head. If the screw was able to get all the way in, there would be no threading in the anchor and the mount would fail in yet another way. Really awful choice of hardware. It would have been a huge hit if it did not have the terrible flaw. Get proper anchors and screws and you will be fine.

Product went together really easy hardware and everything is top-notch. I don't suggest using the anchors that come in the packaging I use the screw-in auger type. Love the foam to protect your valuable investments, peace of mind as well as knowing anything won't move around or fall out/down. Can't think of any negatives at the time 5 out of 5 product. Will update if anything changes..

It's sturdy as it needs to be once installed on the wall and I like the padding, I just wish it was black like the rest of the display. Not a major knock. I only rated it down one star because I don't like the rotating toggle construction method you always see on flat-pack furniture that always seems flimsy. As I said it's perfectly sturdy once on the wall but felt a little wobbly before I got it up there. Overall good buy.

Easy to install and holds blades securely. I like the rubberised surface that keeps them from sliding and protects from damage.

The rack is built great, its sturdy, and looks great.The reason I made it a 3 star however is due to the fact the directions were vague, which isn’t a real problem.The biggest thing however, is the anchors this comes with were entirely too small for the screws and I had to go out and buy new anchors for it to work, adding more to an already pricey, but well built, sword rack.

This was more solid than I originally realized. It is neutral enough to accent my sword on the wall which is exactly what I wanted.

Solid build, good quality. I especially like the foam rubber padding all around the edges. It makes taking swords out and putting them in much less stressful because I know they will not get scratched. No matter how clumsy I am, LOL!

Directions suck, but my husband managed to put it together okay. Looks nice and makes a nice display of his sword collection.
