Duplo's provide an opportunity for a child to be creative and imaginative with structure, and be able to associate with real life scenarios, locations, and experiences especially when guided by an adult that can bring life experience into the play time.

This is a good set to buy if you already have a sufficient number of basic bricks and are looking for additions such as fruits, vehicles and people. Otherwise the building fun might be quite limited. All the pieces in this set are nicely made and add loads of play value to other duplo blocks. We love the two crates and the billing machine. The van is a good size and a complete toy in itself. Highly recommended to enrich your existing Duplo collection but probably not the best set to start with.
