The reverse side of it seems soft enough for this purpose, at least as one would expect for such a thing. The color of it is spot-on and consistent marbling, too. Were it not for this project that is coming up, these would make awesome zip cases, wallets, and any number of other accessories. I cannot yet speak toward the stamp ability of it, but just to say I think it is thick enough to accept that process. It’s not so thick that I don’t think we cannot pierce it with an awl for sewing it up with blunt leather needles and waxed thread. I am seriously hoping some is left over after this project, for the kids to use for making zip case zipper tabs with them.
