I'm no audio wizard by any means, but I've gone through a few subwoofers in the quest for the perfect sound. I now own a couple of Jamo 660's and am very lucky to have found my second one as they are no longer sold in the U. S.. My recommendation is to buy one while you can.

Check your output voltage if using pre outs.
Although this sub performs well, I believe it needs a higher level input.If your receiver has only pre outs with a 1v output then this will sound very weak.

JAMO SUB 660 May Not Be The Answer
I had this subwoofer and gave problems always, despite the good looks it would not switch ON in auto mode. The power board got faulty changed under warranty after 1.5 years. Again happened after 2 years this time the warranty was out and asked to pay A$500 just for spare parts. Seems ridiculously expensive to price gauge customers on spare parts.

WOW excellent sub!!!!
This sub is awsome I have a definitive 400 w I pay a lot more for and there is no comparison so I just run that one as a slave unit off the JAMO .I consider this the best bargain I've ever got from Amazon!!!!!!!
