Excellent. When using this battery with my Canon Vixia HF R600, the new battery *is* recognized by the camera, so the camera's battery-level meter seems to work fine and I know how much power is left. Battery life seems good, maybe even better than the original battery that came with the camera (I haven't done scientific comparisons, but I'm satisfied with its performance). The charger itself seems well-built and works good, plus it's very compact so it's easy to put into camera-case or purse to take along with you. As to the "universal screen-protector kit" included with the battery/charger kit, I haven't got around to trying it yet, but it looks useful. I also have no way to test the European plug adapter (I'm not in Europe) but I noted that it was included in the kit, as stated on the Amazon website. I'm sure glad I bought this kit, it's perfect for my needs and it works flawlessly with my camera.

First of all, this is not a Canon product but it clearly states on the box and on some paper inside that is made for Canon products. With that being said it works perfectly with my camcorder. it holds a good charge and the charger works with the Canons original battery as well. All in all, this product does what it is supposed to and I would recommend buying it if you need an extra battery/wall charger/car charger.

Seller shipped product as agreed upon. The charger and battery both work as advertised. The battery does report its charge to the camera. This is a good lower-cost option.

The charger and the battery with all the accessories came and when initially putting things together, you do need to attach the included adaptor to the charger before charging. The battery came charged (green light) and showed 116 minutes on the Canon Vixia HF R70 camcorder, so the non-Canon battery is recognized in the camcorder. The battery itself is rated at 2100 mAh while the OEM Canon is rated at 2685 mAh (showed 175 minutes).As pictured, the charger with the adaptor attached is on the left and the non-Canon battery is in the middle. The original Canon battery is to the right. The non-Canon battery is much smaller and therefore would have less capacity. The charger is in two pieces and the adaptor is in the large box. You need to attach the adaptor to the battery charger (in its own box), then attach the battery. The Amazon picture does not show the right adaptor, but the correct adaptor for the battery is in the box. The charger also charges the OEM Canon battery, which had a solid orange light while charging and after it was assumably fully charged, flashed alternating orange and green.I'm not really sure why I did a lot of comparison with all the different versions of a replacement non-Canon battery and still don't know what all the differences are. The chargers all look the same from the different vendors and the batteries could be similar. Having another cleaning cloth and LCD screen protectors are not deal breakers and these were never considered in the purchase of this particular brand. Longevity of the battery may be the determining factor but only time will tell and I intend to update this review. However, it is good to have an extra battery while doing long video shoots.

I purchased this more for the Charger and not the battery, but it was a bonus. the charger works great, but the battery is a low power battery that I can use for an emergency. I use it to record my kids sports and put the small battery in to get that last little bit if needed. I like the wall charger and doe pack down with the plug folding into the unit.

I have a canon camcorder with two batteries, but they both can only be charged in camera! so when i can't charge one while using the other. This charger and battery kit is way cheaper than the canon brand, but works perfectly, and the camcorder registers the charge level of the battery on the screen (something most generic batteries don't do). an added benefit is the ability to charge in the car. all in all a great product for a great price!

Everything works fine. Except they gave me the wrong battery. It is far too large to fit in the charger or my camera. Completely useless. Now I'm supposed to send the whole thing back on own time and have to waste ink printing out labels. I would have rather just had the battery replaced. Watch out for the battery to be wrong size. Oh, and the screen protectors are pretty much useless as well. Super thin and not very clear to see through once on the camera.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn upon opening the package that this item also included a wall charger, some cleaning clothes and a 3 piece universal screen protector kit. Maybe I didn't read the review closely, but I thought I was just buying a car charger with extra battery. Needlessly to say, I got a lot more for my money than I was expecting. I've used both the wall charger and car charger today and everything worked fine.

This is a ok set. It's good for backup. The battery is not close to the oem for duration. But for the price and what you get it is fine.The pros are the price and they held charge and recharged well.The consNot sure how durable if droppedCharge time is not as long as better brand battery.Overall good emergency / travel backup option!
