Stylish and comfortable.
I really can't fault this. Controls include raise to standing position, recliner, various region heat and massage controls with variable intensity settings. I have lower back and leg issues and this chair meets all the demands my body puts on it. Sturdy and stylish. Great for the price.

Great chair
I ordered the recline and rise chair for my mam who has had terrible trouble getting her self up out the her chair, she has arthritis and joint pain. Now she pushes a button the chair puts her in a better position to stand , the chair is good quality and comfortable all we wanted. Two lads delivered it and set it up they were polite and friendly top marks for themWould definitely recommendKevin Waugh

comfy and cumbersome
It is very comfortable (I am 5'11 and 'wide'). All the functions work; the massage bit is largely cosmetic compared to a real massage but sometimes reassuring. The main controller is in the left-hand packet (as viewed from the front). The connections are initially a bit confusing and there an no instructions with the chair; do not put the back on until you have made the connections between the back and the main chair. The connections all have different designs so it is actually pretty easy to see what goes where. The main connection is under the chair and seems to go right or left as needed. You will need an adaptor as it uses two plugs and you might want to plug in a reading light as well. It is made of 'bonded' leather which is a composite of leather fibres and some kind of glue. Looks fine: mine is black but very uniform; no blemishes and inconsistencies as you would expect with real leather. The main box is very heavy. Me and the delivery chap managed to gently roll and slide the box through the door, into the hall and then into the sitting room. You would definitely need strong help if you wanted to get it upstairs or had to lift it for any reason.

Very comfy,
As you get older, your mobility certainly goes the wrong way, but this chaire makes a big difference, wish I bought one years ago, but you don't want to admit you need one, but I can tell you if you want a gentle massage with a bit of heat to help you, this is the thing to get.

Check colour.
Colour is disappointing, the colour was described a cream, it is closer to parchment(a dull grey colour.)The chair appears to function ok.

Good buy.
This chair was bought for my mother who has a multitude of medical problems. One of those was a broken arm which hasn't really healed properly and continues to cause her pain. Of late, she had an accident falling out of bed and this produced another problem which prevented her from getting out of a chair. The only answer was a recliner chair which helps you stand up at the press of a button. You can also lie down on it just like in an aircraft seat, except that it reclines itself by the push of a button, no effort required. So even if you had arthritic hands you should still be able to push the buttons without effort. As regards the chair itself, it arrived here in time but in two separate parts. Two large boxes were delivered in good condition, one containing the main part of the chair, i.e., the arms, seat and base including the motor which is on the underside. The other package contained the back of the chair. Once both packages had been opened, it was just a matter of slotting the rear of the chair into the back portion. It's very easy to do and took under a minute to perform this action. Once this was done, it was time to try it out. The motor is connected to an adapter which plugs into the wall, then it's a simple matter of pressing one of the two buttons on the handset. There is a loop of fabric sown onto the right hand side of the chair just under the arm rest. This is where the handset hangs when it's not in use.So this has been a very useful purchase and worth every penny.

Well worth the money
This chair was the best thing I got my mum, she can now get out of the chair without struggling. It's excellent quality and as described.

Looks good . And value for money
A bit on the short side for legs and quite hard but is the right colour to match my dark brown suite..it's a bit noise on a wooden floor on massage settings. Will have to put it on,a carpet.
