At first I loved them, but it wasn’t long before they were defective (four weeks). In beginning I was hand washing them, however I noticed they were retaining water within the walls which they aren’t supposed to to do. After this I just started putting in the dishwasher. They already had water, so why not?!I thought they were fairly sturdy and still elegant in the beginning, however this proved not true either. I had one turned upside down in order to place in the dishwasher and I used my thumb to gently push it into the groove of the washer. In doing so the bottom of the cup broke right under my thumb.I did notify the company of the water issue in both of the two cups I purchased and they said they would replace them. I still haven’t received them after two months so I gather I’m not going to get them at all.Do not order these, as they are very weak and they retain water which I assume comes from the small opening on the bottom of the glass.Too bad because I thought they were wonderful at the first.

Just like some of the other reviewers I really loved these mugs at first. They are beautiful in the kitchen, make your morning coffee a bit more special and large enough to hold a great cup of coffee.However it wasn’t long at all before water got inside the walls.Once this happens they look like trash! No joke!And... for the higher price they just simply should not be retaining water inside.Super disappointed, as I wanted to fill my cabinet with these.

Update: I was able to contact the seller and he responded quickly and requested information for a replcement mug (due to the lifetime warranty) Great customer service. My only suggestion would be to make contact easier (although I’m pretty sure my mugs came with more info, I just don’t usually keep that stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️) I was loving these mugs. Beautiful design, lightweight, and cleaned up nice. Until today, I took the dishwasher safe mug out of the dishwasher and it has water between the glass walls. It looks like a “plug” came out? I wanted to message to company but I can’t seem to find a contact email or phone number so I’m hoping to hear back from this message.

These are great for insulation, but they are NOT dishwasher safe as advertised. There’s a hole at the bottom of the mug by design. Unfortunately, that hole allows water to get between the inner & outer layers. It happens in the dishwasher and it happened when one glass was set on the counter in a wet spot. Once the water is in, it cannot get out. BOTH glasses are ruined. Very disappointed and do not recommend this product.

I purchased the epare retro large 16-oz coffee mug set for my morning coffee.The mugs look like umarked scientific beakers with large handles. They are incredibly light, which has its perks, but the downside is fragility. Not twenty minutes after opening the box one of the mugs slipped from a shelf, fell about eleven inches, and broke.I have managed to use the sole remaining mug every morning since.

Ok, I have had to get replacement mugs several times now because when I put them in the dishwasher ALL and I mean EVERY ONE of them (at least 10 mugs) got water in them when placed in the dishwasher. Epare (the company that make/sell them) was very nice about sending me new ones each time I sent them a photo of the mug and lot number on the box but I have had them send me replacement mugs three times now and as I said all of them got water in them in the dishwasher. I had had also purchased some larger mugs from them as well but never requested replacements after they both got water in them. I know they would send me more but what is the point? They will just get water in them too. I like the mugs and the people at the company seem like good folks but I am done wasting my time with them! To be fair these are not the first ones to get water in them, I got some from Joyjolt and one of theirs also got water in it but only one and the other is still going strong.

You will usually find me with a mug of ice water by my side from the time I arise in the morning until I retire in the evening. My former double wall plastic mug had a tendency to make the water in that mug taste like plastic. I've been looking for a similarly sized double wall glass variety and these new mugs don't disappoint. Wonderfully clear and pristine, and no plastic taste. I will be ordering another pair soon.

You can tell this is a company that cares about its product and its customers. Great packaging, ensures the glass won't break, nice little note inside, and directions on how to take care of the glasses. Most importantly, they work as advertised, keeping my tea/coffee warm much longer than conventional cups, and as the photo shows, when drinking something cold, no condensation on the outside of the glass, and ice lasts much longer (my favorite feature). They seem solid, and while you can place them in the dishwasher (I believe), I hand wash them. Some might find the handles overly large, so it might depend on the size of one's hands whether the handles are a good fit. I would highly recommend these, plan on purchasing more for gifts.

Mine both got slight chips in the bottom outer layer that lead to liquid getting trapped between the two layers of glass. Now both cups are foggy, cannot see through them, liquid is floating in between the layers that I cannot get out, old coffee, soapy dishwater - blechSo overall I'm very disappointed. I chose them carefully and they were perfect for a very short time until they got easily chipped in the dish washer (on the top rack)I would not recommend or give as a gift because of this

I really like these mugs. I love the shape and the look of them. They really keep coffee hot for quite a while. However, for some reason, I got water in between the layers of glass. I emailed my concern to the manufacturer, and they wrote me back the next day. They requested proof of purchase., and said they were sending new mugs in the mail. They have a lifetime warranty. on the mugs. I was very pleased with the customer service.Yesterday I got the new mugs delivered to my house. I was very pleased with this company

These were initially great. However after washing a small amount of liquid enters through the air blow hole on the bot and stays between the two walls. Resulting in a truly disgusting dirty fluid look. There is no way to remove this fluid and the idea of drinking out of the cup is revolting. This is a flaw from manufacturing and these should be pulled from the market until they resolve this issue.

I like the product, except that one had a hole in it, as it is two layers, so the dishwater got in between. I contacted the suppliers, Epare's, customer service by email , twice, and did not receive a response. Pretty expensive for one mug!! If they don't care about after sales service they should not falsely say so on the enclosed card, saying "not 100% satisfied? We care! Contact us."

These came in a set of two. Both now have water in the interior. This was poorly sealed for something that is supposedly dishwasher safe. If i had the original packaging I would return immediately. Besides now looking disgusting they won't keep coffee warm. What expensive junk!! Definitely do not buy.
