The process I had was a prep spray before the treatment and then a product to actually straighten the hair dry and flat iron. A brazilian blowout is a chemical treatment to the hair to keep it non-frizzy and straight if you want it straight, but can work on curly hair also. The product has a little amount of the chemical in it, therefore, helps to keep the hair non-frizzy. Again, I do not think you must have the brazilian blow out first to have this product work for your hair.
