Hand painted distressed finish and hand painted letters: "And the stockings were hung..." Includes 5 metal hooks for your family Christmas stockings, coats, hats, scarves, handbags, coffee or cocoa mugs, etc. We install a backer board that actually lays flat against the wall with two keyhole slots, and allows the stocking hanger to extend from the wall a bit, giving it a nice depth (check out the pictures to see this). It is ready to hang on nails or screws as soon as you receive it. Approximately 17.5" wide and 9" tall. Hooks are 3.5" apart. Need a different size? We have built many custom stocking hangers. Perfect Stocking Holder
We don't have a place to really hang stockings and when I saw this, I had to get it. It worked perfectly. It's sturdy and could fill the stockings with pretty much whatever we wanted without worrying about it falling.

This just came in and is a perfect fit for a family without a mantle! I absolutely love it. I do wish it was slightly wider, but overall am thrilled. It is sturdy, easy to mount, and I believe it will hold up to full stockings.

These were perfect for hanging stocking. They were somewhat difficult to hang due to the prongs in the back but not enough to even deduct a star.
