Review: Way better than bare wire - Super easy to use. I prefer these over bare speaker wire. Looks cleaner, and worked great with my speakers. The fit is nice and tight, so they don't wiggle around in the speaker or the amp.
Review: This is the Premium Solution for Connectivity - These work great for benchtop ham radio power supplies that take a banana clip. These aren't the cheap-o crimp-on types, either. They're super solid, have a good weight to them, and have a screw to hold the wire in. They're great for permanent installation, if that's what you're after, but are easily removable if you want to use a different option. I've used them on two of my bas station radios, and they fit well in 16- and 14-gauge wire. The colors are unmistakable, so there's no plugging them in wrong by accident. They connect solidly, and do not fall out when moving things around.

**Q: will these work with Multi meters and other test equipmemt?**
A: They work in most, but some newer meters have a different type of plug... more shielded, which makes these not fit correctly.

**Q: What is the amp rating of these banana plugs?**
A: I never saw an amp rating on these, but I've used them up to 3A DC without a problem but generally I use them for under 1 amp testing.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for making up test leads
*by A***C on March 22, 2024*

I purchased these so I could make up some custom test leads for my benchtop power supply. They worked perfectly for this - I was able to connect them to some 14GA braided CCA (copper--clad aluminium) wire (ASIN: B095C5DFYX). The aperture was a little small, maybe, but carefully twisting and tinning the wire ends first allowed me to insert them, then lock them in tightly enough that you shouldn't have to solder them in place. I used these both to insert into my power supply, and to insert into either female banana-plug jacks (ASIN: B083Z1ZBDV), or some alligator clips (ASIN: B07R4ZNBF5). This way, I could make a a short lead, then a longer lead extension if I needed to maneuver around some things on the table. My only complaint is that it was tough to get the rubber sleeve back over the connector once the wire was in place, on account of the nut being further out than before. I managed to get it, but it fought me the whole way. The collar is appropriately sized, though, so I didn't need any heat-shrink tubing. In case there's any ambiguity, these are standard-sized banana plugs, not minis. Standard sized plugs will fit in almost everything. Would recommend for the purposes described above.
