I bought these to use with one of my dogs who suffers from low tear production. CHECK WITH YOUR VETERINARIAN FIRST, which I did - for my dog, these are a much more economical substitute for the initially recommended brand. WARNING: almost all human eye drops are DANGEROUS for non-human use.

The first time I used it it looked different than the Natural tears. Now my eye accepts it better but still different. But it does not bother me so far.

Need artificial tears and I find this product to be superb.
