Unfortunately, the headphone jack is on the right, but it conveniently comes with a right-angle cable which helps. 3) This works fine with my Onn 4K Streaming Pro's remote, so I can turn it on/off, mute, and control volume via remote control. Several other competitors don't seem to work well (or at all) with Universal Remotes, and some flat out say it can't be controlled this way in the product description. 4) Three year warranty offered, along with lifetime technical support. I can't comment on how good the support is, not having needed it, but at face value, that sounds great. Negatives? 1) This is not a very sonically impressive soundbar. Just fine for watching the news, or TV shows, but I'd find a different device to play high fidelity music. 2) No HDMI support, but again, that's hardly a negative at this price point. For my use case, it's irrelevant, but it is a notable item if that's important to you. 3) The remote has three buttons to tune the sound - flat, rock, and jazz. If they actually do anything to the sound, I sure can't tell. Review: Good features, easy to hook up and use - This sound bar is exactly what I was looking for. I have it hooked up to a computer monitor that doesn't have built in speakers. I use this monitor mostly with a Roku stick to have a tv in my office. I love that the speaker has different ways to connect it. For my main use I have to have it connected by cord to the AUX port but I can also connect it to my computer via bluetooth or other devices via USB. It's also easy to move around so if I want to use it with another device in a different room, it's simple to do. It's attractive in that it's understated and blends in well. The remote works well if it has a clear line of sight but I often have things in front of it and sometimes have to hold the remote at different angles to get it to respond. I like that it stays on a long time before automatically shutting off. The last speaker I had would shut off after about 10 minutes so if I paused a show for a few minutes I'd have to boot it back up and reset the volume and it was a hassle. I do wish this one would keep the same volume level when it turns on again but it's only a small inconvenience. The sound quality is fine, but not great. There is no amount of magic that can create more power than it draws from the wall, no matter how many amplifiers you add. 1.5A x 12 volts is 18 watts. To the person who mentioned a car being 12 volts, that shows a lack of understanding of basic electricity. A car battery is capable of putting out WAY more than 1.5A, so of course it has more power than 18 watts. But try putting 12 volts from AAA batteries, and see how much power you can get. **Q: How tall is this? I need to make sure that it will will not block my screen when placed in front of my TV** A: The height of the speaker is just under 3" ~ 2-7/8". I use the one I have with a Samsung 32" tv so put a 2X6 under the TV "feet" to solve the problem that concerns you. The unit is well made and is a sound quality improvement for my TV - HOWEVER it has no bass speaker FYI. **Q: What is the actual length ? In one place it says 15 and another place 15.38 inches** A: I just measured mine to find the answer for you. It measures just at exactly 15.38 inches, which is just slightly smaller than 15 and 1/4 inches. Hopes this helps. It’s a great sound bar. I am not by any stretch of the imagination an audiophile, so my observations may be faulty. The soundbar came well-packaged. However, a small issue was that the instruction sheet that was supposed to be included was not. No major problem, set-up is mostly intuitive, and I was able to download a manual PDF from the manufacturer's website to double-check my efforts. Still, the instructions SHOULD have been in the box. The sound itself is fairly good, though I haven't been able to adjust it to my complete satisfaction -- how much of the TV's own speaker sound should be mixed with the soundbar? I'm not sure -- it seems to be a personal opinion, but I would have appreciated some advice. As others have mentioned, this unit does not output much in the bass register -- okay for me, as I don't want to shake walls, but it may be a problem for other users. A small annoyance is that when the unit is turned on from the remote, the volume level is rather high no matter at what level it was left (this wouldn't be a problem in a house, but living in a condo with neighbors can make this kind of sudden sound explosion embarrassing and potentially problematic). Another small annoyance is that the adaptor cord is barely long enough in my situation -- I expected it would not reach my surge strip at all, but it did... just barely... and the fact that the jack is at the right end of the bar, rather than the rear center, could well make that cord too short for some users depending on their ball of spaghetti cord-situation. Minor issues, but for some they could be much more major. All in all, for me it seems to be an improvement over my TV's own sound, which was often too bass-heavy and full of distortion -- with the soundbar I've not had the TV volume rattle and hum as it used to do. The bar is small, attractive, and unobtrusive, and priced to sell even for experimental reasons -- can't go wrong with under forty bucks. I'm not one to need surround-sound Dolby etc etc high-end components (and volume needs to be kept reasonable for the common wall), so I don't mind that it's not an earth-shaker. I think I'll get a better sound mix the more I play with it. If not perfect, at this price it doesn't need to be. -W.D.
