Super cute! Every once in a while have to level it out again or bubbles will go out the side. But for a dragon collector, it's perfect!

Let the buyer beware. What I thought was going to be an ornament for my 10 gallon tank proved to be a worthless piece of junk. I purchased this item on 7/25/2012 and had to remove it from my tank on 8/29/2012 because the blue paint/coating, began to bubble and break off into small paint chips. They were blue specs floating in my tank resembling a shaken snow globe. To return my tank to a normal state required a major water change as well as well as replacing the media in my external filter. In the future, I will only select durable polyresin ornaments.

It works as described but it does tend to move around a bit when operating. I just bought one of those suction cup clips for the air line, buried it beneath the rock and that holds the alligator down.

The head doesn't open and close with the bubbles like expected, but it is definitely a good cheap ornament for a tank!

I was really excited about this when I ordered it, but when I opened the box I was rather disappointed. I thought that this was going to be made of better material, it seems rather cheap. In the back where the air hose connects has already loosened up and I suspect the next time I try to plug it in the piece will fall completely out.

It was cute, but made such a loud noise when it closed its mouth that I couldn’t sleep! I can’t imagine an animal living with it!

you need to buy an air pump that can push the correct amount of air to the bottom of your tank! i have a 65 gallon tall and needed to get a higher rated pump in order for it to work. i also needed to buy a regulator to adjust the amount of air that pushes through. too little and it won't work. too much air and the clam will flip open.

Bought this for the granddaughters fish tank and they love it.

The media could not be loaded.  It looks great, works fine, fast delivery.You do need your own air pump and tubing .

Despite reading other reviews thought risk in buying. The product was poorly protected, guess to save on postage cost's. Arrived with head de-attached,hinge cheaply made. Now struggle contact Amazon unable do so directly to the seller sort the issue out. Not worth the money 💰, with-out prejudice.

works perfectly. however I had to unblock the hole that the air comes out of first. had to jam in a thin nail to unblock it. but works perfectly once unblocked. think the molding gets clogged when they are made.......also would highly recommend a using an air pump where you can control air flow. As I found the air pump i use (nicrow ufo air pump) was producing a LOT of bubbles on normal setting, so I set the lowest setting to avoid excessive bubbles. I now get a steady few bubbles every 5 seconds from the clam

Thought it was great to start with but within 6 weeks the paint started flaking off!!!Not impressed!!!
