Update: 2nd box I bought was nothing like the first. The plastic was different quality, lower precision engineering, not as sharp not long lasting. Reduced to 3 stars.First review: These are good needles, I like them more than NHS selected brands. I'd prefer 4mm if available, no big deal. The only thing I don't like is the box is posted unsealed - but that's no worse than what you get from pharmacies, just saying.Brand comparison, best to worst:Best: BD, high precision, ultra fine, long lasting.Good: this brand, Novo Nordisk, etc. long lasting, no bits fall off.Most basic brands: as expected - those issued by NHS such as GlucoRx, not as long lasting or engineered with precision, caps fall off, thread is poorly cut etc. Not for me to complain, but possible false economy.Some people follow the single-use instructions. I really hate waste, I assume most of us expect these personal-use needles to last for several days, these do the job very well.

Good to know you can buy such things online when the NHS accidentally leaves you a bit short of needles! Great product.

I brought these as I was late putting my repeat prescription in and ran out of needles , my repeat scripts are taking almost a week to get back from the chemist with the Covid so I needed some fast, I usually use novofine and wasn't expecting much from these as I have never heard of the brand before but these did the job just as well as my usual needles , they arrived the next day and fitted my insulin pens (Abasaglar Kwickpen and Novorapid Flex pen) perfectly and the needles went in smoothly when injecting, I actually prefer these so will be buying a few spare boxes now and again as the 5mm needles are more comfortable for me to use and novofine don't do the 5mm ones only 4,6, 8 and 12mm
