DreamSky Analog Alarm Clock with Snooze, Nice Blue Nightlight on Demand, Loud Music Alarms, Battery Operated, Simple Bedside Alarm Clocks for Kids

Just received today and it looks exactly as it is pictured. I had read a review that said the user manual said you should NOT use alkaline batteries. I asked the question on Amazon and everyone that answered said they just used 2 AA batteries and did not address the alkaline issue. In the user manual ( which is just an instruction sheet) under "Product Specification" it says "Power by: 2*AA battery (1.5V) (not included). But, then on the last page of the folded sheet, it has a heading "Friendly Reminder: Do NOT use alkaline and rechargeable batteries" I could find no logical reason on Goggle for this and since everyone else apparently ignored this friendly reminder, I went ahead and put in my alkaline Duracell batteries and so far it is working. I think the bright blue light and the rather loud carnival type music is just fine and the tiny little voice saying "good morning" is okay, too.I set the alarm and it went off on time. No ticking noise at all. I'm Happy.

It's Perfect for my needs ... a small, completely-quiet, analog clock, to put in the back corner of my desk to keep me on time for appointments. It has a clock face I could easily see from even 10 feet away or more. I bought it as a replacement for another inexpensive desk clock that died recently; I'd used for more than 10 years. I hope to get another 5-10 years out of this new DreamSky replacement. I don't use the alarm feature, but thought that the light up area surrounding the clock face would surely get my attention, especially since I am a little "hard of hearing." Anyway, for my somewhat limited purposes, I'm completely satisfied with this DreamSky clock. It was easy to make it function--open 2 boxes (an outer Amazon shipping box, and an inner box that the clock itself came it), remove clock, add two quality AA batteries (they don't come with the clock; I supplied my own from a cache I keep on hand), set the hands to the right time and put it where I wanted it. (Being well past 60 and using "computer glasses" for desk and PC work, I find the clock is much more visible to me than the handy little clock on my PC computer screen, set up for me in the lower right hand corner of a Windows 10 bottom ribbon of mini-icons. (I use that now only to tell me the date, as well as, when I want to know, the local time formerly of work colleagues in another country and now of family members in distant time zones, even when they were/are deployed around the world! :-)

This is a wonderful alarm clock! My mother has very poor hearing. She has hearing aids but doesn't sleep with them in. Therefore she has had the most difficult time trying to find an alarm clock that she can hear. We have purchased clocks that buzz, ring, chirp, etc. Nothing has worked and she has just slept right through them. THIS little clock wakes her up. The music it plays has tones that are various in high and low pitch- and even though it sounds alot like the music the ice cream trucks play it certainly does the job! The numbers are very easy to read, it is easy to set, easy to turn on and off and it is totally silent....no irritating ticking sound. It also has a snooze button for those that may like an extra ten minutes. I plan on buying her another one just in case something happens to this one so she will never be without this clock. Five stars all the way- it has certainly delivered results!

Love the look of the clock. Seems good quality, especially for the price. The style would look good with most any decor, even my antique golden oak with an iron bed. Easy enough to set time and alarm. Numbers are clear. I don't need much to wake me up, so that is the only objectionable feature of the clock. As other reviews have indicated, it is loud music and "Good Morning", bright blue blinking lights and you are really in trouble if this doesn't wake you up. Fortunately, I'm retired and rarely have to set a clock except on Sunday and usually wake up before the alarm goes off anyway. It is a good little clock and serves my needs, but be aware of the alarm feature or will you ever be surprised!

I am enjoying this clock! It's a beautiful little clock and the perfect size and weight for a bedside table! I sleep at night with it beside my pillow and there is no ticking sound at all. The clock face is easy to see with large reflective numbers outlined in black. A pleasant glowing blue light surrounds the face, staying on for 5 seconds when the button on top is tapped or whenever the alarm goes off. I love that the alarm on this clock is musical and a voice says, "Good Morning!" The clock alarm works as it should and is easy to set with the back dial. There is a large alarm on-off button on the back also, which makes it easy to find by touch. A battery compartment is on the back and holds 2 AA batteries (not included). I set my clock when I received it weeks ago and it's still keeping the correct time. I am happy I made this purchase and would buy from this company again!

This is such a pretty alarm clock. I didn't know quite what to expect after reading all the other reviews. I can say that this is probably one of the loudest alarm clocks I've ever owned. It makes me jump out of bed in the morning! I worry I might be disturbing me neighbors when it goes off, so I am quick to shut it off. It does give a cheery little "Good morning!", which makes me smile as I shut it off. My grandson thinks it's one of the funniest alarm clocks he's ever seen! It is unique and it serves the purpose, which is getting me out of bed quickly in the morning!

I love this clock. It is SILENT, which was imperative. I hate ticking clocks. The size is perfect in order to see the time, you push on the button on top and it lights up a bright blue for 5 seconds. Be careful when you set it up. I did not check to see if the alarm button was on or off and it went off about midnight and my husband almost fell out of bed. The light flashes and plays music. He came running out of the bedroom and said "what the blank is going on in the bedroom"? It is definitely loud. I am retired so I never set an alarm so that will never bother me. Don't be afraid to buy it. It also does not take up too much space on your nightstand.
