I don't remember what made me give this style a try, but I'm so glad I did! Every body is different, so of course I don't expect this to be true for everyone, but this underwire bra fits me like a dream and is probably the most comfortable underwire I've ever owned. Combined with the tall back wings that keep my silhouette smoother in back, that makes this one of my favorite bras.The only two things that could make it better in my opinion would be to have a version with a little padding* (I like some enhancement sometimes) and to have more pale colors available. Right now I have this in beige and hot pink ("berry charming lace"), and it would be nice to have some more subdued color options for days when I don't need beige but still need something unobtrusive.* When Vanity Fair uses the term "padded" for some of their other bras, they really mean "lined." A padded bra has extra at the bottom of the cups, to make breasts seem bigger. A lined bra has a thin layer of the same material used for padding, but it's the same thickness over the whole cup, to just smooth out the shape. That's what this bra has. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HOLY GRAIL: best fit ever! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2019* Like some other reviewers, I've noticed a decline in quality and comfort for VS bras and they are no longer worth the money or disappointment. I'm 5'2, 145lb and normally wear a 32 C, D, or DD depending on the brand and shape/cut of the cup (how frustrating!). My point is, I have a large cup size but need a small band size. In order to feel supported and perky while staying far away from push-up or unnecessary padding, this usually results in BACK FAT. My back is quite lean and any kind of elastic band will create lumps and bumps just resting on my skin, and especially when I have a bra tight enough to help lift in the front. THIS BRA solves that problem! (34D for me; smallest band size available.) The back truly lays flat on the back and sides under the arms. The cups are perfectly shaped for me and have enough coverage that I never feel like I'm about to spill out. Sometimes I wish the straps weren't so wide so that I could wear with certain tops and have a cute, thin strap showing... But then I remember that this bra has NEVER caused me pain or discomfort, and the wide straps probably deserve a lot of the credit. My only real complaint is that the colors with metal on the straps-- the metal has tarnished over time (I'm guessing due to sweat and washing). I have pretty sensitive skin and the metal has never caused irritation. So happy to see this bra on Amazon-- going to buy more! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Life changing. FINALLY. I used to be overweight and I lost about 75lbs or more (I had quit weighing at my highest) so while my skin isn’t *super* loose, it’s definitely not firm like a non-weight loss persons is and no matter what bra I wear, I have the worst back fat and I’m so self conscious of it that it really limits what shirts I can wear. So I googled and it led me to this bra, I figured I’d try it since it has free returns and I had nothing to lose. And this miracle of a bra has basically solved my back fat issue!! I’m blown away. This bra also holds my entire boob in the cup. They’re not as firm as they used to be (to put it gently) and like to basically melt out of cups that don’t cover a lot of boob lol (is this normal? Please tell me I’m not the only one!). These cups hold them in snug enough I can lay on my side without it plopping out and it smooths out my back SO WELL and I’m never wearing another kind of bra EVER again. The prices seem to fluctuate a lot so I keep a few in my cart and just keep an eye on them! I’ve bought 3 so far. I included a pic of me in my normal bra and then this bra in the same size.
