A: The handle had some cord wrapped around the handle. The cord immediately fell off. Don't buy this knife.

A: It is a full tang.

**Q: Why is this made in China? 😡**
A: Why? No clue, but it looks nice! I changed to a standard model of machete found at my local hardware store, much easier to run through TX brush.
