The black leaves were dropping off the plants. I sprayed them with an Organic fungicide for plants. One plant totally died. It was reduced to a crumble of black. The spray did not seem to be helping the remaining plants--- more areas on the leaves were getting worse-- the black was spreading. I threw the remaining plants in the garbage.
