Before I switched to this, I had tried several other "butcher twines." They were either too bulky or too small. This is pure cotton and ties nicely. It's thick enough not to cut into the meat too much, and not so thick that it feels like a rope. It has never broken on me, and I pull it pretty tight. After your slip knot to get the roast how you want it, it will hold while you put in a couple of square knots to keep it. This is so much better than the elastic stockings some butchers use for making a nice, round rib or any other roast.. It's also a good , general purpose string. Review: Perfect - Works as it should. Made in USA. ## Features - Butchers Twine for trussing and stuffing meats, forming roasts, and practicing the art of charcuterie in making sausages, smoking meat and curing meat - Truss a chicken for brining, secure stuffed turkey for roasting, form a crown roast, bacon wrapped filet, or braciole, even venison or other game meat - Made from 100% all-natural cotton; made in USA - Food safe and oven safe - 370-feet; fully biodegradable and compostable ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0000CF5CO | | Best Sellers Rank | #182,811 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #259 in Twine | | Brand | Librett Durables | | Brand Name | Librett Durables | | Color | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,389 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00023316101377 | | Item Display Dimensions | 4 x 3.5 x 3.15 inches | | Item Length | 370 feet | | Item Type Name | Librett Durables Butchers Twine, Cotton, 370-Feet, Made in America | | Item Weight | 7.2 ounces | | Line Weight | 15 | | Manufacturer | HIC Porcelain | | Manufacturer Part Number | 248 | | Material | Cotton | | Material Type | Cotton | | Model Number | 248 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Style | Italian | | Style | Italian | | UPC | 023316101377 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Librett Durables - **Color:** Brown - **Item Display Dimensions:** 4 x 3.5 x 3.15 inches - **Material:** Cotton - **Style:** Italian ## Images ![Butchers Twine, Cotton, 370-Feet, Brown - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/817JVlnRneL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've used it for years *by J***E on March 17, 2026* One spool will last a long time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect *by M***L on January 26, 2026* Works as it should. Made in USA. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ perfect string *by K***4 on January 2, 2024* Like others have said, this is a nice string....but what I liked is that all you do is keep the package shrink wrapped, poke a hole in the top and you can pull out (I need scissors to grab the end) the end string and it will pull neatly out of the center. Shrink wrap keeps the whole ball neatly wrapped and clean, in case you bumble and drop it on the floor. Well worth the bit extra $$. and MADE IN USA --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/2281810-butchers-twine-cotton-370-feet-brown](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/2281810-butchers-twine-cotton-370-feet-brown) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
