Lovely car seat for many years to come
This car seat is amazing. Part of me wishes it could be taken out and put in a stroller. LOL! But in all seriousness. This seat is absolutely amazing.it's BIG and comfortable. Much more comfortable than the key fit 30 car and base.First things first. The Chicco next fit is more so for babies above 6 months, that no longer use the car seat along with the strollers when going for walks. If u have a newborn or a baby that uses a car seat along with the stroller, I suggest not getting the next fit for a while. Unless u are ok with carrying your baby around, until they are ready for the stroller alone. That's because the next fit does not fit in a stroller. It's very big and it gas it's own non detachable base. It's meant to stay stationary in the car, not to be moved often. U could take it on a plane, as it is aproved, but it's size and weight are definitely an inconvenience. One more time here, the car seat base is NOT detachable and you CAN'T use the seat with another base nor with a stroller combo. This seat is one piece and it's more meant to be stationary in the car, rather than put in an out multiple times. All that aside, the next fit is beyond wonderful. It's big and comfortable. 9 different reclining positions for the REAR FACING ONLY, make this seat bliss for any baby. It has so many different ways to adjust it in order for YOUR baby to be comfortable. And yes, it fits newborns as well.Once baby met the weight or hight (witchever comes first ) requirements, u switch it to front facing and boom! U have a brand new style seat. You will be using this car seat alone for many years to come. It's comfortable, sturdy, safe and most importantly, a breeze to put together in the car, the CORRECT way, without second guessing yourself once. The price is definitely worth this car seat. Buy with confidence.

Fantastic
Absolutely love everything about it. Simple to install and it doesn't budge even a fraction of an inch. The harness is not difficult to tighten if you follow the instructions in the manual for connecting/tightening the straps. The lowest headrest setting is a bit tough to pull, but not impossible, and when we raised the headrest one notch it was much easier. Seat is incredibly sturdy with excellent padding. My daughter is very comfortable in it and even though she has always been challenging in the car, since switching to this seat she's been much calmer and happier in the car.Fits with room to spare rear-facing (in both center and side positions) in the back of my Matrix and I suspect it would fit well in most cars.Love the pink too. Nice and subdued; it looks tasteful rather than garish and cheap. We agonized and researched for months over which convertible to buy, and we're so happy we went with Chicco.A few things to note:-put the chest clip on top of the bottom of the shoulder pads (this is how it is shown in Chicco's pictures). The underside of the pads is longer than the top and the material facing up is grippy. This keeps the chest clip more secure. Ours doesn't come open at all and she messes with it/rests her hand on it frequently.-the shoulder pads adjust in width as the headrest is raised so the width for growing children shouldn't be a concern. I don't really get the dismay with the pads in general; I quite like them. If you put them the baby correctly they seem perfectly comfortable and definitely make the harness feel more secure than every other seat we tried (which was pretty much all of them).-it is not hard to put the child in and use the straps. It seriously takes me about 10 seconds. The first few times I put her in it took longer (maybe a minute?) but like everything you figure out the most efficient way and get better at it.-the crotch strap position is adjustable, soooo if it is underneath your baby, thereby pinching his or her thighs, perhaps move it to the forward position?Seriously guys this is all in the provided manual. RTFM lol

Love this seat! I have two of them now! Straps have been changed!
The first time I purchased this chair was a year ago. Absolutely loved how easy it is to put in and out of the car. (I use the seat belt) I used the keyfit infant car seat for both my girls and now my second child is ready for the convertible car seat so I purchased another! Most complaints before were that the shoulder pads were rough and annoying. I never really had a problem with them bothering my daughter though. The new seat arrived Friday June 27, 2014. They changed the shoulder pads. They no longer have the tough backing on them and they are now removable. They are definitely much softer than before.Other than the shoulder pad change, everything is still the same.I did not realize that you can take the whole padding off and wash it in the washing machine until it got so dirty that I had to look up how to do it. There is a video on YouTube that will show you how to take off the cover and how to put it back on. Very simple. The recline is a nice feature, but I cant really compare it to another seat because this is all I have had. One of my babies is forward facing, and the other is backwards facing. Forward facing I can choose between 3 different positions, and rear facing, I can choose between 4. You CAN recline it when it is already buckled in, but it is not very easy. The instructions say to set the seat where it will go, line up the "level with ground line" and then adjust the recline before you strap the seat down. Took me maybe 10 minutes to get both the seats in the car and buckled down tightly. The adjustable head rest is nice and really easy to move up and down to adjust to child's height. It also moves the straps up and down too, so it makes it more comfortable. Rear facing, the straps should be below shoulder and forward facing, the straps should be above the shoulders. Also the clip in front is supposed to be at their armpit, and the (older) straps slide under the clips. The newer straps are smaller and actually look (cheap). :/One thing I had a problem with and did not realize until I took the cover off was that the crotch belt has two different positions. My daughter was starting to have issues with us strapping her in, and once I realized that the crotch belt can move outward farther so it is not underneath of her, then the problem was solved. So if you do get this seat, remember that when they get older that you will need to adjust the crotch belt so it is not underneath of them anymore.I can understand where others have complained about tightening the straps, but I only had that problem when the shoulder straps were too far up and stopped the belts from moving. Otherwise, the older and the newer seat I have tighten just fine. It definitely is not a deal breaker though, it takes a couple seconds to pull a little harder if you needed to get them tighter. Or like I said, just move the shoulder straps out of the way, and it becomes easier to pull.If you would like to ask me any questions, I would be glad to answer. I own 2 of these and I just LOVE them. Best part is they won't grow out of them for years to come!

Excelente calidad!!
