Thanks** A: In your normal household waste bin. As far as I know they cannot be recycled or put in compost bin. You can however get more uses out of them if using for a short while each time by sealing them in an airtight bag. They will cool down and when you reopen bag they will heat up again to use **Q: Can these be used for arthritis in fingers** A: Cassie, if I could cure arthritis I'd be a rich man! However, they give me a lot of warmth/comfort for little money, so why not try them? Mike **Q: Are they fire resistant?** A: Thank you for your enquiry. These items are not fire resistant and should be kept away from other heat sources. **Q: Are these considered toxic?** A: Thank you for your enquiry. This item is not considered toxic.
