## Description

The Little Giant VCL-24ULS (553201) is a 115-volt 1/18 HP, 270 GPH automatic condensate removal pump designed to remove condensate from air conditioning, refrigeration and dehmidification equipment when gravity drainage is not possible or practical. Also suitable for high effiency oil and gas-fired condensing furnace and condensing boiler equipment. This pump comes with an overflow safety switch that can be connected to the appliance to shut the applicance down or can be connection to an audible alarm (not included) to warn of possible tank overflow. This pump is equipped with a large capacity, 1-gallon tank.

Review: Little but mighty - life saver - This is early since I only installed it yesterday, BUT after 7 years of heartache, incompetent HVAC installers and "maintenance" workers, flooding, and a couple hundred dollars of inefficient pumps, I can at long last sleep soundly. This Little Giant is up to the task and my Louisiana A/C condensate is finally FULLy being expelled up the long tube into the attic and over to the down going PVC into the yard. When buying a condensate pump be sure to not just rely on GPH but also check how high you are pushing that water because the GPH rating is for NO vertical effort. For every foot of vertical displacement the GPH diminishes significantly. This Little Giant VCL-24ULS does the job I needed done, and for not much more than the pumps half the size and power.
Review: Worth The Money - I bought this to replace the “Little Giant” I bought because the first only held 1/2 gallon which overflowed and soaked the floor. This one is a 1 gallon unit and works perfect! I use it for my water softer Regen discharge that pumps into a wall drain in the basement. I don’t have a drain in the Water Room for the softener. It handles the huge amount of water the Regen discharges and is quiet as well. Great pump.

I bought this to replace the “Little Giant” I bought because the first only held 1/2 gallon which overflowed and soaked the floor. This one is a 1 gallon unit and works perfect! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOT a 30-buck pump! Heavy-Duty motor and good switching

NOT the default 30-buck condensate pump from the home store! Heavy-Duty motor and good switching. Moves a LOT of water, or a little water quickly. My puny HVAC don't make much condensate, I wanted this more for reliability so I am not up at odd hours with tools and a wet-vac. So far (one day) so good. Very minor details: the safety-switch leads are ultra-short, so I have to lay on the floor to splice. A couple foot more wire would be nice at the price. There's just two holes in the top (of this high-capacity pump) and I have three drip-hoses. Re-plumb seasonally or get a funnel? The low-price pumps often have three holes and a hole-plug included. Pluses: comes with both open and check-valve fittings. Check-valve prevents that slosh-back at the end of the pumping, a bit more efficient; but open fitting drains the line so it won't freeze (like mine did). Note that one buyer says to clean the float-rod often, before it sticks (on OR off). You can remove the square plastic box (or just its screws) over the switches but beware! 120V on the switch lugs when cover is off. ___________ 2 months later: still pumping great!! If you cut the bottom off a plastic soda bottle, whittle the neck a bit, you can make a great "funnel" to accept 2 maybe 3 hoses in one hole.
