Well worth the price and the time to replace. Gave my phone a new lease on life.
I was seriously considering purchasing a new phone. My Nexus 6 battery usage was extremely poor and within the past several months it would randomly shutdown and reboot anywhere between 15-30% battery life left. Very disheartening for such a great phone that was ahead of its time. Did a little searching on line and found that bad batteries were often the culprit, so I decided to take the plunge. I've had the case apart before to dry it out once or twice so I was not afraid of taking it apart. Battery replacement instructions provided as well as some that I found on line were a great help. Within 30 minutes I had the battery replaced and put back together. I did nto notice any visible damage to the old battery such as bulging, etc. Just take you time and take it easy when removing adhesive from the phone's back and from the battery. Pay attention and carefully note where the NFC charging loop is stuck to the battery and ensure it's in the same place on the new battery. Be gentle with any ribbon cables as well as the battery connection (it literally just lifts straight up). There was a little charge in the new battery, but I fully charged it, restarted and used it as normal. I was pleasantly surprised to see the old original battery life return. Discharging rates was much less than before. I ran it down several times into the 15-20% range to see if it would shutdown like it had been doing and it never has shutdown.Best investment of $40 I ever made. Like a new phone. I've had it since they came out in 2014 and should be good for another couple years.

Good battery with full capacity and functioning temp sensor
Battery seems to have correct/full capacity of 3200 mAh per AccuBat app. Temperature sensor seems to work as well i.e. not fake unlike some cheap batteries. Tools included were correct size for the screws. The most painful part was removing back cover due to the glue -heating with hair dryer helped and also used narrow knife to cut glue as it stretched. Will wait to see how battery performs after few months and update. I recommend watching NewPower99 video on how to replace battery and also use iFix guide.

I should have shopped around more. Lesson learned.
I didn't want that to be 3 stars yet, I don't know if the battery is even any good. DVD didn't work, sent wrong size tool for the screws. I found the YouTube video. When you do this yourself, THERE IS SO MUCH GLUE under cover. I had to use a knife instead of the tool they sent, and it took me 20 minutes, and I semi butchered a corner of the back. Just be ready to get frustrated a little bit. Battery still isn't in after much anticipation. I have to go buy the right tool tomorrow.

Fortunately for me I was at work and had a ...
The battery itself I would give a 5 star. The kit however is what kills the review. The torx driver is very cheap It stripped out half way thru the disassembly. Fortunately for me I was at work and had a set of small torx bits. The pry tool was very flimsy and broke on one side while prying off the back cover. Also there was no adhesive in my kit.I ended up using some double sided tape at m work. I would not recommend this kit if you do not have some small electronics skills.

Save me $$$ from investing on new Google Fi compatible phone
My old phone was shutting down for no apparent reason especially when the 3 year old battery is lower than 50%. I doubt the indicator is even correct when the battery is old. I am not willing to invest on a new phone since this one is still working great, so I bought this battery hoping it will fix the issue. The product came with a few tools, which I don't really need it since I have a complete set of phone tools and think that the tools that are provided should do the job as well. After updating my Nexus 6 to Oreo and bought a new case, my old phone looks and perform like a brand new phone.

Pricier than others but has true advertised capacity
This Nexus 6 replacement battery is pricier than others, but it truly has the advertised capacity and as good as the original new battery. Phone back to a day's charge, whereas my 3-year old N6 original battery had degraded to about half capacity.Replacement procedure is average difficulty. Helps if you've replaced smartphone batteries before, but even if it's your first time, read the instructions carefully and watch the video. Heating the back with a hair dryer helps soften the glue (which isn't that bad) and makes it easier to pry open. (stupid Amazom doesn't allow links to videos, just Google it or contact the seller)

Main Tool Stripped After 5 Screws
Received the product in the mail and wanted to change the old battery out of my Nexus 6 phone. Followed the instructions on the video and got the back cover off. Then attempted to unscrew all the little screws on the back. After 5 screws the drill bit had stripped and couldn't get the other screws off and the only other way to get another drill bit was to wait for another one off of amazon or buy some bulk $30 tool set from Lowes. Unnecessary hassle when most of the problems stem from the battery in the phone. Might as well get a new phone at this point anyways Huawei Mate SE seems to be the best next option.

Good replacement battery.
Good replacement battery. Replacement is tedious and demanding.
