If they were one inch thick 1/2 foam and 1/2 inch rubber then yes that would work perfect. The rubber is just to thin for going heavy and dropping barbells or dumbbells over 30 pound's. **Q: How many square feet total per pack?** A: Hello, Thanks for asking about our Exercise Equipment Mats, there are 6 tiles in a set, size of each tile is 24 x 24 x 0.56 inches. So there are 24 square feet total per pack. Should you have any questions about our Interlocking Rubber Floor Tiles, feel free to contact us by email: service@superjare.com. Sincerely yours, Superjare Customer Service Team **Q: Can it be used on high carpet?** A: Hello, Thanks for asking about our Exercise Equipment Mats, they may not work well on high carpet. And it is not suitable for fluffy shaggy rugs, as the Interlocking Rubber Floor Tiles may move a little on them. The mats work perfectly on solid flooring, like hard wood floor, laminated floor etc. Should you have any questions about our mats, feel free to contact us by email: service@superjare.com. Sincerely yours, Superjare Customer Service Team **Q: Do the tile joints hold together for hiit exercises like burpees?** A: They will hold up just fine for that. It’s actually a really snug fit and you can’t really see the joints after a while ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for a home gym *by A***O on August 12, 2026* Great for my home gym set up. I needed something to put below my Olympic weight bench (previously used old carpet) to protect the concreate in an unfinished room in my basement. It was easy to assemble and in no time at all I had the approximately 6X8 foot soft padding I needed. Great product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid Flooring for a Home Gym *by J***I on September 30, 2026* These gym floor tiles have a nice thickness and feel much more substantial than the thin foam mats I’ve seen. The rubber top gives them a good surface for lifting and helps protect the floor underneath from weights and equipment. I also like that the interlocking pieces make it easier to cover the space you need without installing permanent flooring. Once everything is together, the floor has a clean, finished look and provides a stable surface for workouts. Overall, a great option for setting up or upgrading a home gym. ## Frequently Bought Together - SUPERJARE 0.56'' Thick 6 Pcs 24 Sq Ft Rubber Top Exercise Equipment Mats, High Density EVA Foam Mats with Rubber Top, Interlocking Gym Flooring for Home Gym, Protective Workout Mat, Black/Grey - SUPERJARE 0.56'' Thick 12 Pcs 48 Sq Ft Rubber Top Exercise Equipment Mats, High Density EVA Foam Mats with Rubber Top, Interlocking Gym Flooring for Home Gym, Protective Workout Mat, Black/Grey - CAP Barbell Dumbbell Set with Rack | Multiple Options in 150lbs and 210lbs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/233317642-superjare-0-56-thick-24-sq-ft-rubber-top-gym](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/233317642-superjare-0-56-thick-24-sq-ft-rubber-top-gym) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
