It goes above my c section line but not so high to the point that it looks like vintage style panties. It’s very soft and has some stretch to it, but not to thin at all. I have several pairs which are over 2yrs old and have gone through several wash cycles which have held up very well --- I will note that I don't put items like this in the dryer. Even the colors are close to what they were when new, very little fading. The sizing is right on with these, too.
