## Description

Rust-Oleum Universal Paint and Primer in one is an all-surface paint for interior/exterior use that provides long-lasting protection and durability. Comfort grip trigger delivery system eliminates finger fatigue caused by continuous spraying. Any angle spray allows you to spray even upside down. Universal spray paint works on virtually every surface even those that are the toughest to coat including vinyl, metal, plastic, fiberglass, concrete, glass, wicker and wood. Review: Good paint! - Cheaper than buying it at the box store. The tops leak a bit while spraying, so wear latex or nitrile gloves if you don't want paint on your hands. The spray is even and it covers well. We bought this paint (and a lot of it!) to refinish 100 year old cast iron radiators. Once we stripped them to bare metal, we painted them with this paint, then dry-brushed copper over them to get a nice antique oil-rubbed bronze look. Sealed them with a couple coats of spray lacquer and they're pretty and durable. Should last another 100 years - long after I'm gone.

**Q: Is the matte farmhouse black a true black, or more of a matte dark bronze/ almost black?**
A: There's something about this that's so black, it's like how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black.

**Q: Is it good for outside too?**
A: Absolutely!  When I was researching this product, I saw people using it for mailboxes, house letters, outdoor lights, etc.  In fact, we painted our house numbers with it months ago and they look great.  I think you'll love this product BUT . . . don't buy it with this nozzle!!!!   The nozzle does not work very well.  You would like this product more if you buy it in a can with the regular nozzle, then buy one of Rustoleum's clip-on nozzles to use it with.  MUCH better operating and way less wasteful.  Trust me on this one!  I wasted nearly a whole can of paint with this stupid nozzle.  It sputtered all over the place.  Lots of reviewers warned me, but I didn't listen and sure enough they were right.  The paint itself is great, though.

**Q: If I use this to paint a bicycle, do I need to sand the old paint off first?**
A: You do not need to sand the old paint off. Just make sure the old paint is still on good. If you are able sand the surface with a fine grit sandpaper to assure the new paint sticks better. Also feather out areas after removing peeling paint so it adheres well and looks good when done. Hope this helps.

**Q: can this be used around a heated surface**
A: I used it on a 1200lb wheelwrights anvil made into a patio table..it has a 12 inch hole in the middle that I put a small Weber grill...no problem so far

Cheaper than buying it at the box store. The tops leak a bit while spraying, so wear latex or nitrile gloves if you don't want paint on your hands. The spray is even and it covers well. We bought this paint (and a lot of it!) to refinish 100 year old cast iron radiators. Once we stripped them to bare metal, we painted them with this paint, then dry-brushed copper over them to get a nice antique oil-rubbed bronze look. Sealed them with a couple coats of spray lacquer and they're pretty and durable. Should last another 100 years - long after I'm gone.

I’ve been using this paint for well over 5 years and I’ve purchased at least 10-15 cans of this paint. Anything metal that I purchase and plan to place outdoors gets a coat of this paint. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sadly not the color I had hoped and didn’t spray

The can it shows in this review is not the one I’m reviewing. It keeps going to this color when I am reviewing the Pearl Mist that I also ordered. This Dark Cherry is a good color and I had no issues with it. I am updating my Christmas tree ornaments and wanted to freshen up the pearl ones. I could not find the color I need locally so I ordered the Pearl Mist. This paint is more clear with a little sheen to it. Not what I wanted. I’ve used this type of spray paint many times before. This can looked perfectly fine until I was shaking it and it started running down the can and splattering everywhere. Along with continuing to barely spray for a few minutes even tho my finger was not on the button, getting the spray everywhere. Needless to say it’s not usable. I may can get enough out to use a brush with it on something else. I think I’ll shop locally for paints so I can see the color and can deal with problems in person.
