best thin option on the market
There aren't too many nursing pads to choose from, and after trying quite a few, I settled on these because they are thin and discreet and don't add bulk to my already bountiful chest. These are good for light leaking- I never needed heavy duty absorbency but these probably can't hold much. They hold up very well- in fact, I wear the same one (!) all day. (Basically I only leak when I am nursing, on the opposite side, so I switch it back and forth all day and throw it out at night.)One annoying problem is since the pad isn't curved, it sometimes creases and can show through a thin top. After a while it settles down to fit the shape of the breast.

Good for light days, bad for normal wear
After reading both excellent and awful reviews, I decided to try these breast pads and I have to report that both types of reviews were correct.Positives: These pads are super thin and very comfortable. They are not bulky at all, so they fit well under clothing.Negatives: There is nothing good about wearing these if there is any chance you might leak more than a few drops. Since the edges are not sealed, any liquid that is not absorbed by the tiny amount of absorbant will seep out. So if there is any chance you might leak much, go for something different.Overall, my rating is three stars. My daughter is starting to wean herself, so there are days when I know these won't work - and never at night! But when I am at work and know that I have my breast pump one locked, windowless room away, they're great!

Great Little Pads!
I have to come to this product's defense. I tried several brands and not only are these less expensive than other pads, they are twice as thin. I have not experienced "leakage" but perhaps I am just not putting off as much extra milk as the other reviewers. My 2 month old is exclusively breast fed and I pump at work (so I do have some issues w/engorgement and, uh, seepage). These little pads slide between your boob and your bra. They do not have any adhesive, but I have had no problems w/slippage. My reccomendation is to change them after a few hours, if you find that they are getting soaked through. Because they are so thin, I keep a few in my diaper bag at all times. However, for my needs, I find that one (on each side) lasts me all day.I wear these pads every day and every night. They work great both as a barrier for lanolin (so that it doesn't get all over your bra) and as an absorbant barrier to prevent milk from seeping out onto your top (nothing sexier than giant, lactating boobs spewing milk out the front of your shirt).

Not my favorite pads...
These are not my favorite kinds of pads but they do the job. My son started sleeping through the night at a young age so anything that didn't have me leaking through my top when I woke up engorged was a huge plus. My only objection is that it doesn't contour to the breast as much so it was slightly more noticeable through my bra than I would have liked.

Very thin pads
These pads are good if you either have very low milk supply or low leakage because they are very thin. If you have normal to heavy leakage I would not recommend because these pads will more than likely not absorb very much. For women who need very absorbable nursing pads I highly recommend the Lansinoh brand.

My favorite nursing pads
This is the only brand of nursing pads I use. They are perfect for daily use - thin and discreet, but still very absorbent. I like that they don't have adhesive, because they move with me a little bit as needed (and yet they don't slip out of place). They're also soft and non-abrasive, and have a wide surface area. They aren't individually packaged, which is perfect - I hate having to unwrap other brands, which is inconvenient and creates additional waste. The only times I have ever experienced leaks with these nursing pads have been overnight or if I put them on backwards (it is a little tough to tell which side is the absorbent side). The only recommendation I have is not to buy them through Amazon (sorry Amazon!). They are just too overpriced on Amazon; I can buy the same package for around $5.50 at Target.

Great for someone with minimal leaks
This is great if you have minimal leaks. They are thin and can not be seen through clothes. I don't even feel them there. I wouldn't recommend to moms with a newborn or who leak more than a few drops. These would probably do nothing for you.

These work for me!!!
The Nuk Ultra-Thin nursing pads are definitely the thinnest ones I've come across, and I LOVE THEM! This is the 3rd time around nursing for me, and these are one of the best. I nursed my first child for 15 months and my second for 25 months. In the first few weeks of nursing, I did need the "maxi-pad" thicker brands, but now (month 5 for third child) my milk and baby schedule are more regulated and these Gerber-Nuk Ultra-Thin pads are perfect. They're discreet and absorb just enough. (But, these may not be for you if you leak a lot or don't remember to change your pads more frequently. I don't like the "maxi-pad" type of nursing pads -- Personally, I'd rather have the thin ones and change a couple of times rather than wearing a "maxi-pad" in my bra filed with leaked-milk!!) Very happy with them and great value.
