Sirius Satellite Radio FM Extender Antenna Kit FEA25

Half of a very long commute loses Sirius XM in my car, due to strong FM signals in the area. No matter what station I set the FM transmitter to, it is drowned out by local stations in the area. I bought this to extend the FM transmitter signal as my car has no way of directly connecting the SiriusXM radio to its audio system. I routed this extender to the top of my car. As soon as I plugged it in, the FM transmitter stopped working. This was in an area where I know I get very low interference. However, the audio I could hear was 100% local station and no SiriusXM audio at all. If I unplugged this extender, it went back to normal. Literally, the opposite effect that I wanted.

Sirius sells their auto radio without this extender antenna and they really should not. The unit transmits an FM signal to your car radio but attempts to do so without an antenna. Results are a weak signal that is not acceptable. This antenna kit solves the problem and results in a quality signal to the car radio. Don't leave home without it.

Doesn't really help the weak FM transmitter in the Sirius radio.Not worth it.

Works like a charm; has one heck of a long cord, but that's actually good. I'd rather be able to hear my radio than worry about winding up some cable and stashing it under the dashboard.

Made no difference in the quality of the FM connection between my XM Onyx Radio and my car Stereo. I was really hoping this would work since my car stereo does not have an AUX input.

Works as designed. Easy to install and fixed the static-y reception with in my car. It is, however, kind of long. I just needed it to run across the dash.

FM extender helped. Main problem is crap fm tuner in sirius xml satellite receiver. Probably best fix is the cm direct antenna splitter.
