Even when pressing down, the aluminum rod does not bend and offers great stability! The tip is well attached and covered with leather that appears to be rubber banded to the stick, but is more sturdy than it looks as I could not pull it off. (I didn't want it off, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't fall off) I would like to have some sort of cap at the back end of the stick as it is left open ended.
