The Pop-N-Play Ball Pit was made with ferrets in mind. They love jumping in and out of holes and tunneling through colorful balls. **Q: would this work for our cat..she is a pretty calm inside cat and fairly small.**
A: I have seen a photo of a cat who tried to get in or out of one and got stuck as the hole was too small and only the head and on leg fit thru then poor kitty got stuck.  Obviously that could have tragic results.  I have one for rats, but I would not recommend this for cats unless your cat is VERY small and it would be for supervised play in case kitty got stuck.  You have to remember, like most stuff, it looks larger than it is in the photos advertising it.  Just buy the balls and put them in a larger cardboard box with cat size openings for safe & cheaper cat fun

A: Yes it comes with balls.  Additional balls can also be purchased separately.

**Q: Would this be suitable for sugar gliders?**
A: I'm not sure what a sugar glider is. However I do not like this product.  My ferret knocks it over very easily and then the balls go everywhere. By the time I get it all picked up, my ferret has lost interest.  Unless I am sitting next to it holding it then it's not fun for my ferret.  Hope that helps.

**Q: I have rats, and the Marshall stretchy tunnel thingy. They have already chewed a few small holes in it but I don't care. Would this be durable enough?**
A: My ferrets have chewed on it a little and haven't done damage really. But this was also only on the ends. They don't seem to try and chew from within the tunnel, but it could be different for rats as well.Your best bet is to give it a try and see how it goes. It's only $20 so it's not too much and if they like it, it's fun to watch them play in it.

If you aren’t great at reading fine print like me, be advised that the ball pit and tunnel are sold separately. Both are great toys and our ferret has a lot of fun using both. It doesn’t include many balls but enough to play with.

I was a little disappointed when this came and the ferret was not as excited as I was about this ball pit. But this has quickly become a staple for his playtime. This arrived and was bigger than I expected. Even though it clearly states how many balls come with the pit, I thought "there would be more", looking down into the pit. I even thought about buying an additional ball pack. That being said, when he tips this over and starts playing soccer with these, there are balls all over our house!The balls quickly became crinkled and dented with tiny teeth holes in them. I used to spend time reshaping them into their round form again, but he would just dent them once more, making it easier for him to run through the house carrying them in his mouth. This is a great product for the price and for both the ball pit AND the balls.
