These slacks are less roomy than Wrangler's heavier-duty cargo pants AND these have a shorter waist...if you hike them up to have your belt just above hips, the inseam will be pulled-up right under your bum. If you have great legs, no problem. I much prefer the heavier and more roomy Wrangler Riggs Workwear Cargo Pant, although, for summer these lighter-weight pants under discussion would be better for casual use. The full-size belt loops are a positive thing for me. For any of the Wrangler pants, the "ripstop" models (certain colors only) are superior to the regular cotton fabric. These, another pair of Wrangler pants in a slimmer fit style, and then some Dickies brand work pants.The Dickies ended up being his least favorite of the three. He really likes these for the relaxed fit, and they fit nice in the waist- the Dickies brand was too tight in the same size- 30x32. He really likes the cargo style work pants because of the pockets. He is a blue collar worker and and puts his pants and boots through the ringer at work. The material is nice, not too thick or too thin. I usually get his Carhartt brand bottoms but after he decimated his last pair of shorts I went looking for new pairs, and came across this Wrangler brand. Way more cost effective for a better quality and better reviews. As a long time fan of Dickies, Carhartt, and other working name brands, I was shocked to see an off brand surpass expectations and have better reviews and longevity.His shorts held up well, and after having better reviews than the competitors, I decided to give the pants a try. So far, no complaints. They fit as expected, true to size. They don't stretch too much but they still have good mobility as long as you get your correct size. They function as expected and hold all the items he needs them too. They are soft too, almost like a brushed microfiber and not so much like a harsh denim or khaki. I will say I feel like the belt loops were a little thin- if you're planning on hanging things from your belt loops while on the job these might not last too long. My partner does not use the pelt loops for anything other than the belt so I am not too worried there.Overall, these look good, and for the price you really cant beat it. They haven't stood the test of time at his work place, but if anything fails or underperforms I'll be sure to update my review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Inconsistent sizes across colors *by on Reviewed in the United States July 28, 2026* I’m leaving a review for the Olive Drab color. I wear a size 33x30 which is an awkward size and difficult to find in many general stores. I purchased these along with the black and navy ripstop variants. The olive drab fit perfectly. No issues. I love them. The black and navy do not fit. The olive stayed true and fit perfectly no matter how many times I wore them or washed and dried them (on low heat). The others fit too tight like they’re a size smaller (and were snug when I purchased them). I will probably replace the others with another pair of the olive drab. So I’m removing a star because, even though I purchased the same size, material, and I treated them all the same, the pants do not fit consistently. After checking when I purchase another pair of the olive, if it fits as well then so be it.
