Welds really good, easy to use, light weight, best for the price

Great welder,, full featured in a small package
While looking for a wire welder, the issue of going with flux core only mig setup was my main concern. The initial cost for gas was a little too much for me. So I started looking for a mig welder that did flux core. I looked at a bunch of welders online. I wanted to run on 120V and also be able to do DC welding and what I found was the Hobart toolmate 100 offered the best feature set. The toolmate 100 does DC current welding. Output of 100 amps DC with 4 voltage levels. Comes with 3 .030 tips and a 8 foot long torch with 6 foot ground cable. Built in fan and over temp shut off all with a 1 year warranty. I also like the fact that replacement parts are readily available. Although I did not purchase this through Amazon, I happened to get it locally for under 2 bills. For lite, portable welding you can't go wrong with this little gem.
